8-9 messages showing unread , even though I have read all
JayRayka
After ios 26 update, it always show 8-9 unread messages but there is none. On the app logo it shows 9 unread messages then when I open the app there is none. Then I Force quit the app and re open again it shows same thing. Then I have to select the message option then I click on the read all messages then it shows unread messages which I have already read. Then I click again read all then it disappears. Then again if I get any messages , I read that then again it shows same thing again. So I follow same process again. So kindly fix this issue. Thank you

iMessage is a great way to communicate with the people you do with and also is a great platform to text and call.. Love all the new features and upgrades! The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because i sent 51 photos with 3-4, 1-5 seconds’ videos, but unfortunately the photos and vids I sent, are not showing up (all). Only a few showed up.. I was sending my pictures from the trip I went to to my family group chat and now it’s not appearing! I am very sorrily disappointed and sad because now I have nothing to do. Besides that, this app is great to use! One of the best Apple apps to use for communication than others. This app should deserve a 5 soon from me! Good luck in the future! Bye..Regards 😊😊
Fabulous!! Could be much better!!

Great Messaging App, But Needs More Features!Apple iMessages is an excellent messaging platform with seamless integration across Apple devices. However, to stay competitive with other messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, it needs some much-needed feature upgrades. One major addition should be the ability to send one-time view photos and videos, similar to WhatsApp’s “View Once” feature. This would enhance privacy and make sharing sensitive or temporary content more secure. Additionally, self-destructing messages for all chats (not just in Lockdown Mode) would be a great privacy feature.Another improvement could be advanced media controls, such as better compression options for videos and images, and the ability to edit sent media like we can with text messages. Customizable chat themes and wallpapers would also make conversations more visually engaging.iMessages already has a great ecosystem, but adding these features would make it even better. Apple, please consider these updates to keep iMessages at the top of the messaging game!
Frustrated with iMessage – Not What You’d Expect from a Premium Device
Cu143
As an iPhone user, I chose Apple for the premium experience — no clutter, no ads, and a smooth, secure ecosystem. Unfortunately, iMessage is falling short of that expectation.Lately, the app has become increasingly annoying, with interruptions and, to my surprise, ads appearing in my messaging experience. It's baffling. When you're paying a premium price for an iPhone, the last thing you expect is to be treated like a free user on an ad-supported platform. Isn't one of the key reasons people pay more for Apple products the ad-free, polished user experience?Apple used to stand out by respecting user privacy and keeping things clean. But this direction with iMessage feels like a step backward. If this continues, it's hard not to question the value of staying in the Apple ecosystem.
