The scale is very accurate. Need some improvements on the app. I can’t seem to figure out how to switch between pounds to kgs.

As a physician familiar with physiology and body composition, I’m disappointed with the Hume Body Pod’s segmental analysis.Despite using multi-frequency BIA with 8 electrodes, the outputs appear heavily dependent on predictive modeling that breaks down in non-average users. In my case, the device consistently reports “very high” fat percentages in the arms despite clear muscular development, while simultaneously underestimating fat in the trunk — which contradicts both visual assessment and well-established male fat distribution patterns.This points to a systematic misallocation of fat rather than simple measurement variability, likely reflecting inherent limitations of impedance-based segmental modeling. The skeletal muscle estimates also appear inconsistent, further reducing confidence in the overall output.While I understand the constraints of consumer BIA devices, presenting detailed segmental data with this level of inaccuracy risks misleading users. At present, the device may be useful for tracking general trends, but the mirror doesn’t support the data and the data doesn’t seem believable… I’m disappointed.

I have paid a big sum for the scale for it to not work because I can’t login on the app? From the time the scale became Hume from fittrack, it has kicked me out of the app. When I try to login with my registered email id, it says login using another social media? Which social media should I login through?When I try to create a new account, it says badly formatted email address? What’s even a badly formatted email? lolWhen I go to their customer support chat, it asks me for my order id before it can connect me to a human manager? lol what’s going on? Can someone help me get some value out of the heavy cost I paid for a non functional app?

The Hume pod and band though great at the measurement types takes some time to adjust to the scoring and metrics
