Please make these adjustments, for movie watchers.

Fix them man.
Firstly I’ve been using this app for more than 5 years, now there is so much option of movies and great shows, but please remove those smoking disclaimers or at least make them transparent or smaller, they take half of the screen and they have a white background which is so distracting for viewers and also the Hindi subs when text is shown in movies or shows even when the movie or show in selected in English. All these things just distracts the viewers and looks cheap, like I’m watching from some illegal website, no other big screening apps do these things. I’ve was watching the movie, The Bikeriders all those things I mentioned plus the pixelated video quality even with Full HD quality and network quality being high, was enough to make me watch that movie some place else. Please fix them, these are very basic things you can do to improve your audience experience and generate more viewers by targeting a whole bunch of movie lovers on your previously majority sports fan audience bought premium. The experience so far hasn’t been premium even with all the new content and Jio ownership.

The content they have is good but how the new updates on app have disrupted it the entire ott experience is worst. I’d also written to the hotstar team to bring back the watchlist option which was on the previous version on app that allows a user to add individual episodes to the watchlist. That was very simple and easier way to navigate through any particular episode. But after the new update that came in March, this feature has been disabled. You can now only add the entire series of any show to the watchlist but not particular episodes. With every update on the app in apple store, the team very conveniently write that “we are listening to you…” are you guys actually listening? These apps are made to give us entertainment, we are charged for the quality of app, content. App updates are made to fix bugs, issues ,not to distrupt the user experience, which you guys have been doing since almost 6 months. And doing a fab job in spoiling the experience 👏🏻. All the more worst experience is while navigating through episodes, the entire list just doesn’t open. Please explain how do you move forward or backwards to pick up from where we left the series? Your team has all the screenshots of the issues I have addressed, please do your homework and then come back with a resolution, ‘literally’. High time you should genuinely start listening to your users!

I’m quite sure I’ve noticed a glitch in your app that seems to happen more often than it should. Just yesterday, I tried watching a show I regularly follow, and out of nowhere, it asked me to subscribe or pay to play the episode — something that’s usually available as part of my plan. I didn’t change anything on my end, but strangely, today it’s working fine again and I can watch it without any issues.It reminded me of similar complaints I’ve come across online from other users — globally too — where people reported being asked to pay again for content they’ve already paid for. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re all set to relax and unwind.Please don’t let these glitches chip away at the trust and integrity what Disney built as legacy. I’ve always enjoyed using the platform, but things like this make us question the consistency. Hoping you’ll look into this and prevent it from happening again.

The constant barrage of advertisements is already bad enough, but now you're cranking up the volume every time an ad starts? It's not just annoying — it's disrespectful to your users.This kind of cheap, intrusive publicity is insulting. You're blasting ads at double the volume of the actual content, clearly hoping to force attention. It's manipulative, inconsiderate, and borderline abusive. Do you really think people won’t notice or care? Spoiler: we notice, and we’re tired of it.And what’s worse is that even subscribers, people who actually pay for your service, are still subjected to some form of advertising or promotion. Why? What exactly are we paying for if not an ad-free, smooth experience?You’re pushing more ads, increasing their volume, and ruining the basic user experience — all while pretending it's normal. It’s not. It’s greedy, lazy, and a complete disregard for the people keeping your platform alive.Stop with the excessive ads. Stop manipulating volume levels to force attention.
