I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional support provided by Onsurity, the InsurTech company, during a challenging time when my father was admitted with medical complications. Timely, precisely and supportive
My recent experience with hospitalisation of my wife has been seamless and through the treatment before admission and till discharge, the Good doctors team on onsurity was always very proactive and helpful. Hope they keep up this good work and goodwill.
Onsurity is a pathetic service overall
In general: Their PED cause gives them a chance to Reject a variety of claims in 1 shot. PED means Pre Existing Disease. According to this clause, at the time of writing this review "Pre-existing disease for each Team Member and their family is covered under the group health insurance, after 4 years from the date of enrolment."
For corporate policies, how is this PED clause even feasible? Will a new employee wait for 4 years to get themselves (or their dependents) treated? If someone changes their job, their health care platform company will most certainly change. If their new company uses Onsurity & they have an existing disease, aren’t they screwed. Doesn’t it raise a question against the utility of such apps?
My experience: in the very first month of switching my job, my Mom was diagnosed with a form of Cancer. She had absolutely no history of it. The discovery of the disease was unexpected. Unfortunately the healthcare App company was Onsurity & their Good doctors team rejected the claim twice under the clause of PED.
