I recently received a claim settlement from the insurance team and was surprised by how the amount was divided. According to the explanation provided, only expenses related to an "unwell baby" are considered eligible for reimbursement. This raises a serious concern.Childbirth—regardless of whether the baby is well or unwell—is a medical event that takes place in a hospital under medical supervision. Denying claims on the basis that the baby was born healthy seems unreasonable and unfair. It almost implies that a normal delivery doesn't involve any medical care, or worse, that it could have happened without professional support, which is neither practical nor safe.I urge the concerned team to revisit and review this clause or interpretation. Parents deserve transparency and fairness, especially during such emotionally and financially significant moments.
