The Hotel was closed for maintenance without ANY prior notice
I had booked Oyo 7173 and when I reached the location the door was locked and upon pressing the calling bell, some labour put his head out of a window and drove us away because the building was closed for maintenance. I did call Oyo Assist. The hotel reception could not be reached. Even the Oyo assist people could not arrange for any kind of alternate stay options. They replied all the suitable accommodations are booked already. Yes I was refunded the full amount of money but it was a great deal of harassment. Staying out in the heat and over 25 mins on call with Oyo Assist. I have extensive experience with Oyo and I was satisfied with the service until now. If the property was closed for maintenance there should be at least a notice for the people who booked it. I’m very disappointed and I feel harassed.
Anyway thanks for the refund though.

Extremely poor customer care and security issue
The oyo has degraded its brand value in the same speed they have expanded their operations. I had the worst experience with oyo and this is with their owned property i.e townhouse. The breakfast had just only one option so they are just trying to fool us saying complimentary breakfast. I had to order my breakfast from the menu which they charged. Also, they don’t even provide toasted breads and when I asked the manager he said the oyo has not yet provided them with a toaster. This is not all the worst Is
yet to come which is really more alarming. I asked at the reception to get my room cleaned while I am outside the room. I asked them around 11 am and returned back to hotel at around 6 pm. When I checked my room, the room was not clean and somebody drank the whiskey from my bottle, vomited in the bathroom and left it like that. And not only that, they also opened my luggage. When I called oyo assist regarding this matter, they put me on hold for like 10-15 mins and the calls got disconnected automatically. This happened 4 times and and I have not still heard back from them. This is really alarming cz this is happening at their owned property which raises the concern of security of the people who stays in the hotel. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE AND HIGH LEVEL OF SECURITY ISSUE. The customer care don’t even bother to respond and they themselves closes the complain.

Done with oyo irresponsible booking system
I booked a hotel in Kolkata, and the address of the hotel i booked sent to me was wrong. My flight landed at 7pm and i took a taxi according to the address sent to me by oyo. Around half way i wanted to inform my hotel people that i will reach within few minutes i got to know that the hotel booked was not in the address provided by oyo. I was on the opposite direction of my booked hotel. By this time it was almost 10pm I was a single female travelling in an unknown city. How can oyo be this careless.
And recent i booked a hotel to attend my friend’s marriage. On reaching Jaipur I called up this oyo customer care people to confirm my booking, they said the booking is confirmed. On reaching the location i couldn’t find the hotel. So called up customer care people so that i can talk to the hotel people. That time also the oyo customer care confirmed that my booking is confirmed with the hotel. And when i spoke to the hotel people, I got to know that they have stopped giving service for the past 1year. It was 7pm in the evening. And when I spoke to the Oyo customer care people to tell how can they say the hotel booking is confirmed in a hotel that is closed for the past 1year. The customer care people were so rude and irresponsible and did not take up the responsibility. Very disappointed. PLEASE BE CAREFUL BEFORE BOOKING OYO ROOMS AND HOTELS...
