App fuunctionality is pathetic
The Umobile app functionality is getting worse day by day. Today when I tried to log into the app through my iPhone, it prompted me to install a new version 5.2.0. As soon as I did that, my login pin was not recognized. I tried the Forgot Pin option but the app did not allow me to reset my Pin. I called customer care who re-registered me on the app. Same problem occured again. Then I again called and the cust service rep said there have been complaints coming from all over India about problems with their mobile app. Worst, he kept repeating the current iOS version of the app as 5.1.0 without even being aware that a new build version 5.2.0 has been released today and is malfunctioning. Now I have been told that the problem will be resolved tomorrow. I make frequent fund transfers through this app and this is how they function!
App functionality is fine..
IMPS works like a charm.. real time!
1.One minute thing ( the developer & tester should have noticed it) ... when you enter the password to authenticate the transfer, submit button is placed low down.. sometimes we are mistaken that button does not exist! The unnecessary gap between the password window and submit button should be reduced so that both are visible on the same screen without scrolling. 🙏🏻
2. Whenever I try to access the section for enabling Face ID / Touch ID for authentication, the app crashes.. in case you intend to provide the facility.. please make it fully functional OR do not show the option at all!! Login using Face ID works very much fine on HDFC Bank’s mobile banking app. 🤷♂️
3. Whenever I am restoring my iPhone after a repair (it happened with me twice) , the app has to be deleted and reinstalled.. then only it works. 🤦🏻♂️
4. System should automatically detect and display if I am holding a current or savings account and other options should be grayed out automatically.. it is annoying to read the message “you currently do not have a current/savings account with us” 🤩

Worst app by union bank ever
The earlier app shouldn’t have been stopped until this came fully effective. It was registered with great difficulty. After registering it while trying to transfer funds it was not allowing the same telling tpin entered is wrong even when the tpin was same. It is asking to reset the tpin. How to reset it. In the app it is not allowing to reset it. Customer care executives are a bunch of losers and have no knowledge of what’s happening around. All they have to say is to go to the branch. If everything was to be done at the branch then what is the use of these apps and customer care ?? Either re initiate the old version till this version is fully functional. Or show the decency to respond to the mails sent by the users. Very disappointed 😡😡😡😡
