The decision of Idea to merge with the Vodafone may have benefitted both the companies but it has come as a rude shock to the customers of Idea and a customer like me who has started with Spice. There is no network and there is difficulty in calling as well receiving calls. My friends tell me that your phone remains switched off or you are not in the network as I have never switched off my phone. There is always a problem of Internet as most of the time, I have to rely on the WiFi. While using the internet, your phone hangs up due to the lack of internet connection and when you approach the distributors, they say the Company is not listening to their complaints. I am totally fed up and if it continues, I will go to a different service provider as I have virtually been left without a phone. Now they do not allow my review saying No nick name available.

I have ordered online prepaid sim of new connection of vi from there app .. which was urgent for me and as they tells us tge will deliver it within 24 hours but 5 days went on from the date i ordered and later on their customer care service is so bad that only tells that it will deliver tomorrow it takes time and gives all the meaningless reasons and cuts the phone directly ,later on they said cancel the sim if u want..later on i saw the reviews on google and you tube and i read the comments they have not delivered any of the sim of any customer till now everybody was giving a same feedback like me and they have cancelled the sim at last i also cancelled it . I recommend you not to buy any online sim from them through aap its a scam you can check reviews of google before buying and one more thing it happens in all the areas wether the are is remote are or not they will still say it will be deliver but it never gets delivered i paid all amount online as it was the only option now according to them when we cancel it the amount will be refunded within 5-6 days now lets see i just wanted to get it cancelled fast that it and they provide this type of service and customer care language and the way of talking and solving problems is so bad before buying sim what will they do after using and if gets any problem so i will never ever use there sim thank you.

I had to port all the numbers of my family to VI as I wasn’t getting good signal for the previous network operator. Everything seemed to be in perfect condition but to my horror the things went from good to bad in just a day. The networks for both the mobile numbers of my family were scraped off stating a reason for non payment of previous operator’s outstanding amount. I had already cleared the pending dues ( well that’s how technically you can port to new operator) but nonetheless I sent the payment receipt to VI as well. I had to write 40 emails and they responded to none. Once you call them on their helpline numbers they act funny and hang up on you. My mother was sick and I couldn’t speak to her and neither could she speak to anyone on phone as both the numbers were shut off by these guys. This was the condition when they already received the payment a month ago and that too this wasn’t their payment. They are sheer pathetic When it comes to resolving your issues and they don’t even bother to reply to your emails. There’s a reason why this company isn’t worth any praises as they don’t deserve one. Better don’t get yourself into trouble and opt for their network instead find someone better who would actually do a good job than these losers.

I have been a Vi erstwhile Vodafone erstwhile Hutch erstwhile Orange for past 17 years and ever since they merged with Idea, the network reception in my home deteriorated. I am neither able to make a single call properly nor receive any signal. Data signal shows 2G. Made many complaints but to no avail. Tried to port out twice but they convinced me they will fix the connection issues during both the times. Finally made up my mind and thought to switch to another provider who has very good signal in my area. The moment I put out the request there was a barrage of calls from Vodafone at least 30 to 40 calls in less than two days. Its unbelievable how insensitive they are toward what the customer says and continues to beg to retain them. Every Half an hour I would get a call begging to retain. Vodafone must learn to respect the customers decision especially when they are running into losses and when most customers are working from home. They keep asking me what is the issue without looking into the call logs from before. Expect me to explain the same issue all the 30-40 the times they call me. Worst way to Try to retain a customer. Good bye forever Vodafone. You deserve it.
