Power ON behaviour Settings
I am using this app for controlling Wipro smart bulb and socket but the problem is there is no power on behaviour settings.
If the device is off from the app and suddenly electricity goes off and when the electricity comes back device turns on automatically rather than taking last command it turns on. When no body is around and electricity goes off and it comes back device will turn on automatically which will be wastage.
Means whenever I leave home I should switch off my device then what is the purpose of having smart Device
Please suggest the solution
After a power cut, the bulb forgets the previous settings
It’s a shame that an Indian company like Wipro, develops smart home products with Indian conditions in mind, fully aware that in India power conditions are pathetic and power cuts are common. Yet, they decide to develop a product that completely doesn’t address this issue. Let’s say I switch my lights off in the night while going to sleep through Alexa instruction and go to sleep. And in the night power power cut takes place and comes back after ten mins. The light basically forgets that it’s precious state before power cut was OFF and turns on. Think about you waking up in middle of the night to a bright glowing light in your bedroom, wouldn’t that be terrifying? I’m sure there may be ways to address this through some kind of an app update. But my hopes are very limited given the me too approach companies like Wipro take to home automation without real passion or attention to detail to the customer requirements.
This App doesn't link to Google Home
This doesn't work with Google Home even though it mentions on the packings that this works with Google Home. I tried multiple times to get it linked to Google Home, but to no avail. I request the developer to look into it and let me know if it works. Then I will change my rating to 5 star.
