Good PricePoint and Booking Procedure but costumer support should be improved

Good app interface and smooth process of booking. checkin and checkout of the car is also nice if host or costumer care contacts us before vehicle pickup and telling us general condition of the car and trip briefing bcz if something unexpected happen to car before we go to pick up the car (like flattend tyre, car not starting or not unlocking) and our trip gets delayed we don’t know what to do, who to contact only thing we can talk to is chat bot in zoomcar app. Also it is very hard to contact customer care in case if we have an issue during the trip. Even if we have host contact they say cancel the booking and book new car or contact costumer care if car faces any issue during the trip or before the trip. How can we book in a new car in some random place far away from the city and we are bound to take it to garage and whole trip gets delayed, no one wants to be in this situation when they are in a mood to enjoy the trip. Final suggestions: 1. Costumer care can be made more easily accessible and should be a physical person not a bot. This will give peace of mind to costumer. 2. Frequent check of the vehicles put on the domain should be done (as a costumer we only can look at the exterior of the vehicle and can’t know the working condition of the car until we drive it and We only drive the car once we start our trip). We even pay money before physically looking and testing the car. So, I feel zoomcar can test the vehicle condition regularly or make the host to do so and give guarantee to its costumers that they will not face any issue with the working of car during their trip.

I am from Mumbai and I decided to book a car on rent for a day. At first i was very skeptical of which rental car company to choose and kept bouncing between 2-3. Eventually I went ahead with Zoom as I had heard of its service before through a friend but the reviews on all social platforms were bad and to be fair it was the case for all companies. Hence the doubt, but I put my faith and booked a car. Till date when I am writing this review, I have used Zoom’s services for the 3rd time and with no issues at all. To be more specific, Zoom doesn’t take a deposit for your daily rentals which is a good thing as you have the peace of mind when dropping the car off. The information on the cars is the thing that attracts me more to use Zoom. It is pretty informative and you have many filters to find the perfect car. Furthermore, the cars are always in a great condition when I receive them and the starting process of the trip is also easy and smart. Although the app is slow during this process as it captures the car’s photos and uploads but i never had a major problem with it. I found that the prices are better on Zoom than its competitors with more discounts which is always a plus point. Zoom will refund any extra charge you had to incur in your trip(ex. Fuel). To conclude, Zoom services are very good in Mumbai and I can vouch for it and recommend one too. Please ignore other 1 star reviews as they must not be from Mumbai and also fake.
