MobileControl – Control domestic appliances from a mobile device
With MobileControl, you can control all network-enabled Miele domestic appliances quickly and conveniently using your smartphone or tablet. This means you can access your washing machine, dishwasher or oven at any time and select the programme, delay the start or select other options, for example.
RemoteUpdate - Always up to date
Do you want your networked home appliances to always be up to date with little effort? No problem - thanks to our RemoteUpdate function. Available software updates for your Miele domestic appliances are automatically available and can be installed upon request.
Consumption Dashboard - Transparency of usage and consumption data
Keep an eye on your water and energy consumption at all times. The Consumption Dashboard displays your water and electricity consumption data after each cycle, offers tips for a more sustainable use of your dishwasher and washing machine, and provides a personalized monthly report. Ottima ma migliorabile
Riporto un parere in base alle mia esperienza d’uso con lavatrice-asciugatrice. L’app funziona bene ma soprattutto per quanto riguarda la lavatrice necessita di un paio di aggiornamenti: possibilità di scegliere fra capi bianchi e colorati (funzione presente sulla lavatrice e non sull’app) e percentuale livelli residui dei due detersivi Twin Dose.
Per il resto è molto completa, soprattutto facilita la selezione delle impostazioni secondarie di lavaggio e dei programmi extra non presenti sul selettore fisico.
Tutto bene tranne timer
Ottima lavatrice; ottima la funzionalità di partenza ritardata dove si può dire con precisione al minuto quando terminare. Quest’ultima funzione ne abuso perché è troppo comoda, solo che ha sempre avuto qualche difetto: ogni volta che impostavo il timer di fine ciclo mandava l’istruzione ma mi veniva ritornato codice di errore 500; poi comunque funzionava. Ultimamente forse a causa di un aggiornamento non sono più in grado di far partire con successo il timer tramite app, succede che l’80% circa delle volte sbaglio (questo anche a causa della UX che mostra l’errore). Il problema più grande di quando sbaglio è che il ciclo di lavaggio parte subito e non ho trovato nessun modo per interrompere il ciclo, nemmeno staccando la corrente dalla lavatrice: quando la si riattacca riparte da dove era arrivata e non ti permette di cambiarlo. Sarebbe bello se dall’app: - il flusso per far partire la lavatrice con il timer fosse migliorato per evitare di cadere in errore - si potesse terminare un ciclo iniziato (qui il problema grosso è che dipende da che punto è arrivato il ciclo: fase di risciacquo-> sarebbe opportuno fare lo scarico prima di aprire l’oblò)

Da questo marchio una incoerenza simile è praticamente inaccettabile.
Dunque, vediamo a cosa può servire questa applicazione a due tipi di utenti distinti.
Un utente normodotato vuole usare l’applicazione per programmare ad esempio una lavasciuga, deve attivare il mobile start sull’elettrodomestico prima di poterlo fare, ma se ogni volta deve attivare il mobile start dall’apparecchio tanto ne vale che programma anche il resto direttamente sull’elettrodomestico.
Altro utente e qui è ancora peggio l’incoerenza, utente non vedente, tramite voice over potrebbe utilizzare la lavasciuga che altrimenti non è possibile dal suo display touch posto sull’apparecchio; L’applicazione è accessibile ma bisogna attivare il mobile start sull’elettrodomestico, impossibile farlo per un non vedente in quanto si deve scorrere dei menù ecc. ecc.
Ma appunto, ammettiamo che al non vedente gli venga attivato il mobile start da qualcuno, ogni volta che si spegne l’elettrodomestico o finisce un programma l’opzione si disattiva.
E questo sarebbe anche un elettrodomestico che beneficia di agevolazioni per essere ritenuto un apparecchio accessibile ?
Basterebbe poco per renderlo veramente qualcosa di utile e coerente ma gli sviluppatori del software dell’elettrodomestico e dell’applicazione probabilmente non hanno alcuna nozione ne di “smart”, ne di accessibilità.
