It enables even the least earners in the society save the little they can at same time giving them a small return on investment. You can save as little as KES 10. You can also set periodic financial goals to save against. The 2 only challenges I have faced (1)is the money transfer cost saving more than KES 100
(2) Not being able to withdraw more that KES 100,000 in one transaction.

Hi, thank you for the feedback, for the depositing charges they are levied by Safaricom. Even so, we are tirelessly pursuing means to alleviate this, for the withdrawal limit we are working on having PesaLink soon, therefore you will be able to withdraw more than 100k and make bank transactions.

I had very high hopes when I started saving with Chumz, this is as a result of great reviews I had seen on social media. But to cut the long story short I have been very dissatisfied by their services, first of all their customer service is the worst. Also the transaction fees on this platform is just absurd considering the interest earned isn’t much, I feel like this should be public knowledge because I was immediately surprised when making withdrawals. I would also like to note that I couldn’t withdraw everything from my savings considering the transaction fees of 30 shillings charged. So when I tried withdrawing everything all a got was an error message this is still after I factored in the transaction fees. I later discovered the error came due to me trying to withdraw everything. So I had to withdraw in bits. Making it more expensive and then I still left behind the 77 shillings. This app was a complete waste of my time and money. I would seriously not recommend.

The app works very well. The continence around planning contributions brought to your phone and communal saving as well. Only challenge is the amount of money that can be withdrawn. Increase this to the wallet size limit of the most popular wallet. Increase this to 500,000

Also give the option of withdrawing to a bank account. This coupled with increasing the interest rate will lock in customers for sure. This can become a Neo bank in its own merit
