Good App, But Needs Multi-Device Support

The current version of the app is actually good and works well overall. However, one key feature is missing compared to before. Previously, it was possible to use one account across multiple devices without issues, which was very convenient.Right now, the app does not allow smooth use of the same account across devices, as logging in one logs you out of another. It will be great to maintain the current version, but bring back the ability to use one account on at least two devices seamlessly. This will greatly improve the user experience.

I’m honestly really disappointed with the recent upgrade of the Safaricom M-Pesa app. What used to be simple, reliable, and easy to use now feels complicated and frustrating.Before the update, everything worked smoothly, especially for those of us in the diaspora. The app was clear, fast, and straightforward. Now it’s confusing to navigate, and even basic tasks take more steps than they should. Instead of improving the experience, it feels like things have gone backwards.What’s even more frustrating is that the app now only seems to work properly when using roaming data. This was never a problem before. For those of us living outside Kenya, that means extra costs and unnecessary inconvenience. An upgrade should make life easier, not harder.Safaricom has built a strong reputation for innovation and putting customers first. That’s why this update is so disappointing. I really hope the team takes the feedback seriously, fixes the roaming issue, and brings back the simplicity that made the app great in the first place.

What do you mean new version! Why bring a theft App?All other apps use any internet regardless it’s source whether Airtel or Equitel or Safaricom or bundles or WiFi for data ( internet)! Why should this useless thing kind of an app should rely only on your company bundles commanding the switch off of the WiFi always? I hate Safaricom my all my heart and am looking for other services to pay my bill! As I don’t use Safaricom for calls nor browsing since 2020 , I will quit your financial services!! As a family we hate this new app! Currently am using your MySafaricom app as I decided an option! Very boring App and it doesn’t make sense to remove the original Mpesa app and replace it with a bogus app which is as boring as the MySafaricom app! What’s the difference between the two..this new so-called my OneApp and my Safaricom! The older version was better. Have lost all my business transactions on favorites ! It’s new nonsense and I hate it. Am going Airtel and Equitel.

Shocking standard from one of the largest businesses in East Africa

1) the icon is ugly and looks like a copy of the Safaricom app so I keep getting confused thinking it’s the app where I buy bundles 2) the old app worked with WiFi because Safaricom network is weak in my home which they haven’t attended to. But now I can’t use this with WiFi. It keeps giving me errors and blocks me from using the app 3) I have to redo and re register my Face ID every 2 days. Basically re enroll if I use the app with WiFi by mistake it asks me to put a SIM in my phone. 4) my balance is always wrong, if I refresh, if I close and open the app. Even restarting a session. It doesn’t update 5) the fuliza button just spazzes, blinks and doesn’t go anywhere 6) it’s horribly optimized, the scroll, the flow feels like it staggers and blocks in some places 7) you can’t even directly key in a till number or pay someone, you have to confirm with the keyboard and then click ok. The old app didn’t do this and no banking app does this. It automatically closes the keyboard when you click ok This two step process feels frustrating when you start doing it a lot. The worst experience, Safaricom has become too big for customer service, there’s no feedback button. Have had the worst experience in store as well.

We’ve also improved Airtime Top Up, Scan to Pay, Pochi la Biashara, statements, onboarding, and NFC payments, along with general fixes and performance improvements.
