Old App: Big Yes... New App: Major Fail!

Soon after HST co. introduced their all-new GS app, I went from being a super GS addict who literally would know the whole GS collection by heart thanks to their old app, to someone who cannot stand using the new app more than 30 seconds! I obviously never bought anything from GS since (or seen any of their new collections), especially that I had become more of an online shopper than a physical store shopper, all thanks to the old GS apps. I used to swear by HST’s marketing & customer service excellence and strategies, but this time when I tried to communicate my disappointment with the new app to the CS team, I felt even more disappointed. Everyone seemed so thrilled with the new app that they forgot the main important factor of success: USERS! The old app with a few needed enhancements would have kept HST co. in the lead of the online shopping game in Lebanon. But the new app just does not fly!
