This app empowers users to effortlessly navigate to Hear2There Accessible partner locations, offering vastly superior location accuracy compared to traditional GPS technologies — and it's fully functional indoors. With Hear2There, arriving at an Accessible location is just the beginning. The app assists users in acclimating to new environments by providing detailed descriptions of points of interest. This feature enables users to construct a mental map of the space, facilitating easier navigation with or without the aid of technology. Whether it's accessing a menu, finding elevators, identifying potential hazards, or listening to audio signage, Hear2There delivers crucial information right when it's needed. Beyond helping users familiarize themselves with specific locations, Hear2There is an invaluable tool for public transportation. The app not only locates the nearest public transport stops but also offers schedule information and live arrival times for supported systems. Hear2There is more than just a navigation aid; it's a platform built to enhance existing mobility skills, fostering a sense of independence and enjoyment without relying solely on technology. This vision comes from a development team that includes a visually impaired co-founder with 16 years of experience addressing a range of visual impairments at Emory University's Emory Eye Center as a Physician Assistant.
