Hex2Ascii is a simple tool used to convert hexadecimal strings to ASCIl characters. The app can also convert Ascii to Hex. Just set the switch for whichever translation you want and enter a string in the text field to see the translation in the area below. When translating from Hex to Ascii, the app will ignore any non-printable ASCIl characters. When translating from Hex to Ascii there has to be an even number of characters. If an odd number of characters is entered, the translation will be blank until and even number of characters are entered. The app has a Copy button which also allows the copy of the bottom translation to the clipboard. There is a Resign Keyboard Button on the top right corner of the screen which will clear the Keyboard from the screen. There is a Known Problem in this version: when translating from Ascii to Hex it does not translate the single quote (*) correctly. It gets translated to a hex x22, which is a double quote(") and not the correct hex x27. The app comes with no warranty.
