Train your ears. Strengthen your intonation. Play with greater confidence.
Scale Master helps musicians develop a more reliable sense of pitch by turning intonation into something you can clearly hear, feel, and practice. Whether you sing, play a wind or string instrument, rehearse an ensemble, or teach music, Scale Master provides a steady tonal reference that makes focused listening easier.
Practice with a sustained root and justly tuned interval to hear when two notes truly resonate. As your pitch settles into place, beating is reduced and the sound becomes clearer—helping you learn the sensation of playing in tune, not merely watching a tuner.
Switch to scale practice to build dependable pitch placement across keys. Hear each scale ascend and descend while following its pattern on screen, then work at your own pace with adjustable tempo, note length, repetition, and metronome support.
Scale Master can help you:
• Recognize and correct intonation more quickly
• Hear the resonance of well-tuned intervals
• Develop stronger interval and scale awareness
• Improve ensemble balance and harmonic listening
• Practice confidently with a stable tonal center
• Demonstrate pitch relationships clearly to students
Choose your concert root, octave, transposing instrument, enharmonic spelling, and pitch calibration to create a practice environment that fits your music. Use Scale mode for consistent equal-tempered pitch placement, or Drone mode to explore the resonance of just intonation.
Included scales cover essential material such as major, natural minor, harmonic minor, blues, whole tone, chromatic, and pentatonic scales. An optional Jazz Modes upgrade adds Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, and Locrian modes.
Designed by a professional musician and educator, Scale Master is a practical ear-training companion for students, teachers, ensemble directors, and experienced performers who want to hear more deeply—and play more beautifully in tune.
