In urgent need of upgrading

I have been using this app for a few years now. It’s great for booking tickets and awesome that there is no physical tickets and no need to queue at the counter.

Unfortunately, the app has never been stable from the 1st time I used it a few years ago. It often hangs or the app kicks you out every now and then. But recently, it has gone really bad. My virtual ticket cannot be displayed on the last 2 months. This means I have been queuing at the counter to collect my ticket. This defeats the whole purpose of this app.

Get this app fixed once and for all...

Finally… But…

MY users had enough complaining this so-called “No. 1 Cinema app” stuck with first generation Retina display resolution like forever ever. Counting from iPhone 6, took it bloody 5 years to FINALLY evolves to fit larger display resolution natively. And you thought, “at last, say no more to horrible user interface!”.
BUT then, guess what, the very next second you found out it requests your mobile number for account login instead of email which used to be on previous version, and it cannot recognises your mobile number registered with your GSC account?! So we have to sign-up via mobile end all over again?! Then what about our ticket history? All gone for good?!
For GuanNinMa’s sake, GSC, please don’t tell me this is another crazy half-baked app. Like we Malaysian always said, “don’t know whether to cry or laugh” 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Hai, please be informed that all members will need to sign up again with a brand-new account in order to book and purchase tickets, as your existing GSC account will no longer be valid. You may use the same email to sync your purchase history. Thanks

Horrible to use after latest major “update”

The old GSC app was not perfect but it was easy and straightforward to use and I could search by theatrres or movie easily and complete my purchase in under 5 minutes . The NEW app now however .. is HORRIBLE and very frustrating to use . It is one of the worst app I have used now in a very long time . Selections are very confusing and worse of all in this day and age, extremely NON-INTUITIVE... and to add insult to injury .. full of intrusive Advertisements ..even right in the middle of the movie selections list !! The developer of this app has really done GSC a disservice with this terrible and almost unusable update . It is putting me off watching movies in GSC if I get a headache every time I try to buy a ticket with this app. And I am sure I am not the only loyal customer GSC will be losing if they don’t get their app fixed soon .
