Kummute - Ride-pooling app 4+

The application is straightforward. Select your pick up/drop off location and choose desired time. Please note you need to be in the pick up area or else you might get an error as the app is location sensitive (capture real time movement for the driver and passenger). For my case i am using kumpool in cyberjaya area. I took erl (fast train) from kl to cyberjaya. I can only start booking 5 min prior to station arrival because earlier than that, i am not in cyberjaya region. So there might be longer waiting time for the ride. However, if you’re sure on the time of your arrival, you can book 2 days before, when you’re in the kumpool region.

The drivers on this platform are very nice and friendly they arrive on time usually BUT I have an issue with the application because Almost always When I open the app I am welcomed by a black screen and the only way that it will go away so far is when I enable airplane mode then disable it and open the app again, and this way does not always work!!!! Also when I book a trip I can see the driver moving on the map but I have had issues with the same driver the first time it showed him in cuber and my pickoff was in putrajaya central then the app says oh your driver is here bit HE IS NOT so I try to cancel the pickup but I CAN NOT and so I got stuck cannot call another ride and cannot quit the app even though I turned my phone off!! Then now I see him stuck in the same location for more than 30 minutes on the map so I cancel the order to avoid the problem I had the first time and order again same driver same problemI have been waiting for an hour because of this problem please fix it. The idea is great but the implementation is bad and gives the user a really bad experience.

Made new friends as it’s car pooling with others. Cheaper than grab if you are in a small pax. Easy to find driver too. The apps is user friendly, easy to navigate. Topup process also very quick.

The only downside is, i booked the trip in advance. But trip has been cancelled few minutes before my trip and money refunded. Not even try to get me a new driver, but just fully cancelled instead.
