Starbucks Malaysia 4+

I'm Fae, recently I was taken aback by how convenient it was experiencing to order and pay our coffee via mobile apps from another coffee chain company in Malaysia. From 2011 Starbucks Canada been using the Starbucks app to order and pay for food/beverages. The same with Starbucks SG as our nearest neighbor. It's the biggest regret for me as Starbucks Malaysia regular customer that we couldn't experience this less-hassle and much needed apps in our daily life. The current mobile apps version 3.1 on latest iOS 15.0.2 even auto logout even we have chose our preference of "Keep me sign in". Have you seen the ratings of 3.1k users? Only 1.4 star out of 5. The mobile apps need a massive upgrade in order for customers to order/pay via mobile apps and could still collect our star rewards at the same time. Given that whenever we order via other e-hailing services customers are losing out as it doesn't incorporated with the star rewards system, hence another setback for us the customers! Thank you in advance if my suggestion would be taken into a consideration and your kind perusal."

I am a loyal Starbucks Malaysia customers since the past 10 years, I can say that I have spent an average of RM150 per month on my coffees. I really enjoy the mobile app payments via the Starbucks app, but for me, the experience is pretty limited. And I have used the Starbucks Malaysia app for mobile app payment since my iPhone 3Gs days, that’s a very long time ago and for me, to be honest with you guys, there’s no major improvements on the mobile app since the first time I use it.

What I would suggest is that for Starbucks Malaysia to listen to my suggestion and request to add a very useful feature called “Add To Apple Wallet”, in which it’ll enable the existing Starbucks card information to be added into the Apple Wallet app, alongside with the current balance (in Ringgit Malaysia) to be automatically appear in the Apple Wallet app. It will enhance the experience and the level of convenience even more. For example, users will be able to pay for coffees via their Apple Watch when this feature is being enabled, now how cool and convenient is that?

As a loyal customer of Starbucks, I would really hope that Starbucks Malaysia will consider this feature to be made available right here in Malaysian Starbucks app because USA Starbucks already enabled this feature, why not us? Thank you so much, and looking forward to hearing feedback on this feature request soon.

After months of iOS 9 release and the app still isn't updated and optimised for newer devices. On an iPhone 6 you are still presented with an ugly and up scaled app. For god's sake, iPhone 6 was introduced more than a year ago. You'd think with all the overpriced beverages, they'd do a better job with the app. But no, this behemoth company doesn't give a rat's derrière about its customers. They've got the monopoly, just like Telekom Malaysia. Look at our absurd internet speed and the ministers say us Malaysians prefer slower speed! I can't even turn iCloud backup on because then it would take up all the meagre bandwidth and render the home internet completely useless! I guess Malaysia boleh! Time for a change guys.

Also, stop taking my favourite beverages off the menu. I'd have to go to a different country for my Raspberry Blackcurrant. Berjaya is one of the worst companies in the world. All they're doing is continue to tarnish the Starbucks brand.
