I joined a few months ago and I have no regrets whatsoever. Initially there were so many negative feedbacks (specifically, some people claiming Risevest is a scam because they could not pull out their money), and of course a few positive feedbacks from others who have long been a part of the RISE family. I became a bit worried (since the negatives outweighed the positives), but made up my mind that I was going to “see with my two eyes, what was chasing others before I run.” So, I decided to withdraw some money from my account; guess what! I received it earlier than I expected. I strongly believe that there won’t be so much to worry about if we all “play by the rules.” I love to see my money rise, and Risevest makes that happen for me, however, I look forward to more attractive interest on the RE plan.😉🤓 I can boldly say that my money is safe here - Risevest is not a scam!!! Kudos to all the Risevest team, it can only get better!
Great App!
After you get the hang of it, using this app is a breeze thanks to its polished user interface. When it comes to functionality, I like how simple they made funding and investing, particularly for someone like myself who is just starting out in the investment world.
However, one drawback is the lack of virtual USD card for online transactions. I hope they’re already working that. I'd also be grateful if they provided a virtual US account because I'd want to save/invest directly in dollars without having to worry about fluctuating exchange rates.
Disappointing Experience with Risevest Virtual Card for Nigerians
I recently tried using the Risevest virtual card for various transactions, including subscribing to Apple Music and paying for an international flight. However, I encountered several issues. The billing address was set to the USA instead of Nigeria, making it impossible to complete the transactions. Additionally, after purchasing dollars at a certain rate, I found that making payments with the virtual card was never successful. This resulted in having to sell the dollars at a lower rate in order to withdraw funds to my Nigerian bank account.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend using the Risevest virtual card for Nigerians. It seems to be set up in a way that results in losing money, and the process of converting and withdrawing funds is inconvenient. I believe that Risevest should consider discontinuing the virtual card service for Nigerians.
