GoodLinks works seamlessly: reading, highlighting, and cloud sync are reliable.Feature request: dedicated homepage that shows random unread articles. With a backlog of over 200 saved links, a randomized preview feature would make it much easier to rediscover and work through older articles.Another feature request: built-in RSS feed/reader, with option to save the articles (or automatically when highlighted). Also: supporting an indie developer is a big plus.

I really like it. It’s not packed with lot’s of features but does the job quite well and really like the iCloud part of it.
Fav -> terrible -> fav again

Update 14 jan 2026:I made the review below when the initial redesign was out. It was quite a terrible one, but over the past few weeks/months the developer has done a lot of work to bring back some features that I missed and I suspect a lot of people missed. The two biggest issues can be read below but to put it shortly: Search is search again, showing all results instead of a dropdown with only one possible selection and not being able to differentiate between read/unread/etc.iOS now also has a Close button again. My only gripe right now remains the tagging, when I select multiple links and right click -> Tags. It immediately closes the pop-up tag selection window once a tag is chosen. It’s really cumbersome to select multiple tags for multiple links. In Edit mode this is possible, but not with multiple links. So I hope that gets brought back and then it’s perfect. Why the 4/5 stars? Well, based on how it was before the redesign, it was a 5/5 app. Right now it’s nearly a 5/5 app again, but the mere fact that the developer chose to do a whole redesign and then backtrack on major features has left me feeling a beta user. It’s back to 4/5 for me since I really appreciate it being backtracked but it shouldn’t be needed in the first place. Nowadays with these kinds of apps it’s easy to get Beta (TestFlight) users on Reddit/Discord/you name it without forcing all of your users to do the testing for you. They would’ve most likely provided the feedback about how terrible some feature were in the redesign so other users wouldn’t have had a bad experience for a while. And it broke quite some workflows because of this.I—The latest update has made the app pretty bad. I’ll keep it short, but first of all the search is broken on macOS. I cannot show all results in a list like I used to. Also it’s just a “quick search” and it shows Unread and Read items all the same without any filtering options what to include in the search. Second big issue is the way on iOS adding a link via the share sheet works. It’s now an ugly bland white full-screen page that cannot be clicked away in any way, tapping anywhere just goes into edit and required 2 screens to be clicked away by then, terrible experience. Only option is to swipe away, which isn’t always convenient. Also: search on iOS is hidden behind the 3-dot menu? And it has the same terrible behaviour of not being able to show full results in a list instead only having the pop-up and Read/Unread all together without any filtering, indication, whatsoever. There are more minor things but these two are now so bad, that if these don’t get fixed, I’ll need to look for other options. This has broken my workflow.

Thank you for the updated review. On macOS, you can select multiple tags by holding the Option key.
Goede read-later app

- Ready for iPhone Duo.
- Various improvements and bug fixes.
