Sjekkbok is quality assurance and documentation of your own work, for Norwegian tradespeople and small contractors. Checklists, photos, deviations and signatures are kept per project on the iPhone or iPad, and become a report you can share as PDF. The app is in Norwegian.
PROJECTS AND CHECKLISTS
• Checklists from templates: standard templates for start-up, ongoing control and handover, and trade sheets for wet rooms, fire, building physics, load-bearing structures, extensions and demolition, among others
• Choose the project's QA level, and the matching lists are suggested
• Each checkpoint gets a status (OK or Not applicable), photos and a comment
• Add your own checkpoints and make your own templates
• Import the checklists you already have: from Excel, Word, CSV or pasted text
• A site check for each day on site
• Sign a list when it is done. It is locked, and a new revision can be made when needed
DEVIATIONS AND CHANGES
• Record deviations and changes with photos, action, deadline and consequence
• Send a change notice or notification to the client as PDF, from your own email or SMS
• The app keeps track of what was sent, when, and what the client replied
QA ROUTINES
Ready-made QA routines for deviations, changes and documentation, which the company reads, adapts and adopts – or the company's own routines as PDF. They are based on the Norwegian building regulations (SAK10) chapter 10. The company is responsible for their content.

• Share a single checklist
• The whole register as one ZIP file, which can be read back on a new phone
YOUR DATA STAYS ON THE DEVICE
No user account, no login, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Everything is stored on the iPhone or iPad and works without signal. Nothing leaves the device unless you share it. Photos are stored without the camera's location data.
THE APP DOCUMENTS – IT DOES NOT ASSESS
Sjekkbok keeps track of what was checked, by whom and when. It does not assess whether the work was done right or whether the documentation is enough. That is for the company to decide.
SUBSCRIPTION
Try free for 14 days. Then NOK 249 a month or NOK 1,999 a year, charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, at least 24 hours before the period ends, under Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
With a subscription you create and edit. Without one you can always read, share PDF, back up and restore what is recorded – what you have recorded is yours either way.
