App works great. Would love Siri Shortcuts support

This new version of the app actually works, and works very well. Nice and simple to set up and use. I spent hours and hours trying to get the previous version working, following the user guide and phoning Goldair support. I even took my fan back to the shop to swap it with another, thinking it was a faulty fan.

Just a few minor tweaks would make this a 5-star app:
- When changing fan speed, it’d be great to have the speed change straight away when a new speed is tapped. We currently have to also tap the ‘okay’ button to initiate the speed change.
- Siri Shortcuts Support would allow us to control the fan with our voice. Because the hardware doesn’t support HomeKit, Siri Shortcuts support would be very useful. 🙂

Good control of heater

The app is a good way to control and monitor the heater. Most of the time I get a direct line to it, but sometimes when I open the page for the heater, it shows me old data for temperatures or being even turned on/off rather than current so I end up turning off something that’s turned on or even just nothing happens. So I’ve “learned” to leave the app open for 5-10 seconds and wait for it to refresh before I look at the heater info.

What’s the Point….

Bought a Goldair Platinum heater for my elderly Mum’s bedroom to take the chill out of the air before she gets up or goes to bed. The timer function on the app is useless. There is absolutely no functionality to set the timer to come on at a certain time, the only functionality it has is to turn off after a certain number of hours. So this means waking up earlier just to turn the heater on. Surely the timer functionality could be upgraded to be able to set it to turn on and off at a certain time each day and in increments of minutes not hours. It’s not rocket science. 🙅🏼‍♀️
