Not so user friendly

Would benefit if there was a exit(back or cross) in the corner you can click on when you look tap into a student info page. I would always have to pick on teachers, then resect my again again. I find the app not very user friendly and requires so many unnecessary click/tap to get to a place. Also, recently I find the app freezing, not responding, shutting down, and things not loading up very frequently. FYI am using hero as a teacher.😊

Frustrating functionality holds it back

Improvements would make all the difference. Definitely better for assessment than communication but unfortunately our school didn’t listen to feedback prior to implementing. While handy to have comms in one place it loses points for basic functionality, which is frustrating when trying to find a specific piece of communication from a couple of weeks back. It needs decent search function by title, subject or date, a categorising function to group messages, being able to delete old or irrelevant messages from my stream. The assessment and tracking tool for academic progress is ok but depends on the next school using the same system when a child moves/graduates (if it is truly a system that lasts through their academic life) and a concise annual report is missing and would be really useful.

Why am I struggling through all of these messages looking for info from weeks ago? Can’t you have a list of headings to make searches easier or maybe a search bar. Here’s an interesting feature: When browsing a screen of messages I scroll down and tap the ‘older messages’ button to go back, only to find myself placed at the bottom of the next screen. So I scroll to the top message then have to scroll back down to access the ‘older messages’ button again. Needs fixing. While you’re at it, why not let the reader know which screen they are on… 2 of 5 for example. A feature to highlight and put aside messages of interest would be nice.

And yes, that issue with being randomly logged out is still there.
