Hero by LINC-ED 4+

This is a very clunky piece of software. Notifications appear then I open the app and there’s nothing there.
A notification icon will appear in the app then I tap on it and nothing happens.
I have just tried to open it to read a notification and I just get a blanks white screen with the waiting circle spinning. I’ve left it for several minutes but it still won’t open. I appear to have the latest version also.
I have just changed my phone to a new iPhone and the same issues that I had with my previous ones still exist on my new phone.

Frequently logs me out, never sends notifications for updates via the newsfeed, newsletters, or my child’s classroom updates, etc. Alternates between including my child who is no longer at the school to not including them, very weird. I have an iPhone- perhaps this app was not designed with iPhones in mind? I’ve deleted & re-downloaded the app multiple times- doesn’t fix it. The school cannot help, as they haven’t designed the app. I’m incredibly tech savvy so I know the issue isn’t with me either. Frustrated, because I miss important details from the school. Paper notifications would be much preferred/more effective then using this app- unless improvements can be made. In theory, it should be a great one. Hoping to enjoy ease of use in the future.

The little red 1 keeps showing as if there is a post to read… but then I open the app and there is nothing there. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and checked notifications and everything I can think of, and it won’t fix. It’s incredibly irritating because i don’t know if there is a new thing I need to read - or not.
