Wechat was getting really slow so I got out and when I entered it again it was pitch black and kicked me out. This happened a lot of times since I tried a lot. Then I offloaded the app and it would not install again, no matter what I did. Now I deleted it and reinstalled again; this time it worked, hope it works normally now because I think apart from the thing that happened earlier, WeChat is getting all over the world and my mum now uses it to pay for like everything 😅

I was just using WeChat normally, right? Chatting with friends, checking moments, watching channels, I go to bed, get up and when I check in and try to reply to a friend, it doesn't go through. Strange, I thought. I resent it, and it still didn't go through. Then I saw 2 messages from the Wexin Team from last night telling me I couldn't access any features other than the pay app to remove any remaining funds in my account. Turns out I had been permanently banned. For what? Apparently for "harassment, malicious marketing, or fraud.". I have never done any of those. And now I can't do anything. The security centre didn't help. Told me to "follow the steps below on mobile," but I am on my IPad, which is a mobile device, no? I believe I was completely wrongfully banned. There was nothing in my chat history. Nothing in my moments. I hadn't post anything for months before this, actually.

I wish I can give higher rating but the recent update frustrates me to no end. After the update, my WeChat iPad has stop connecting to my house wifi and my office wifi. I still receive message notifications outside the app but when I clicked on it, my WeChat will show it is disconnected from the internet server. I have deleted the app and re-downloaded it, and it works okay for one night, and the next morning the same issue happened again. My internet connection has no issue connecting other China-owned apps, so I am not sure what’s the problem. I have reported this issue on the WeChat website but so far no one is getting back to me. Please help!

So I recently bought a new phone(My old phone is pretty outdated and can't download WeChat). I try to login again but I forgot my password so I try to appeal to change my password but failed. Since it's a new phone, it says I must login to or use my account on my old phone for security check. But I can't even download the app so how can I perform that security check. So now I have to create a new account and lost all of my old contacts with all of my friends. Most of them I don't have any other form of contact besides WeChat. I moved places once a few years. So I pretty much lost all of my friends. Pls WeChat If you saw this please help me recover my account information. Thank you.
