Stop trying to change me to an inferior product

Outlook works well but every couple of months it trys to change me to the "new Outlook". I have tried it several times and never last on it for more than a day. The new outlook doesn't transfer over rules. Some of my accounts also didn't convert over even though they are from the same place as some other accounts I have. Annoying, just leave me with this version or make your new version better!

Ok, not yet up to scratch

I'm grateful that there is an Outlook app that can be used on my Macbook Pro, as this allows me to keep work emails separate and in the same format required for work, from my personal emails.

However there are a few things I wish the app had which the web browser version has - the automatic "follow up?" on emails that I haven't replied to, is the main one. This is really useful as it brings emails that I may have filed away to the forefront of my inbox, but the app version only lets me flag emails. These remain in their respective folders, so I have to click through every folder to see what I need to attend to (especially tricky on a Monday when Friday feels so long ago!).

I also find the Rules feature a bit buggy - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't run the rule on messages when this box is selected. And oddly, the dialogue box for rules doesn't go into the background, so I have to exit it when its taking too long to jump to another app or window.

It would also be great if changes made in the app on one device applied to the app on another device (or on the web version). E.g., my signature from the web version didn't carry across to the app, and changing from my usual laptop to the home desktop (iMac) app didn't carry across the same changes. From memory this included the creation of new folders.

I'm sure these a small fry things though, so overall pretty happy with it!

Poor syncing

I use this across imac, macbook and iphone and I have frequent problems with emails not syncing. An email will arrive and I read it on one device, but it does not always appear on others. Other times I can send an email on one device and have no record of it on the others. Alos, syncing with Contacts does not work well, especially with my personal email account which is IMAP - when I write an email to an existing contact from my personal account I sometimes have to enter the address manually. These problems appear to occur more frequently on the New Outlook version than the old one.
