Wrote the review below a while ago. I tried the latest version of the app and viola, what a difference. It even talks to both my frame TVs and no connection timeouts or issues. Whatever you did Samsung, it’s about time you sorted the app.. my setup is identical, only thing changed was the app version and now it works like it should have originally. Thank you!*******Wrote this review a year ago and hoped the app would improve.. but alas no.. it keeps saying TV is Offline.. but it’s not as it’s streaming content just fine.. The app is needed to manage the artwork and that’s the whole reason we went Samsung Frame and not LG.. seems like we should have chosen the other brand… Apple can make stuff work seamlessly, why can’t you Samsung? The frame TV is a great product. The app is simply atrocious. Constantly won’t connect or long delays before it responds. Fails to upload photos, tv won’t switch on and then the Alexa connection via smart things is completely unreliable. Falls well short of expectations of a smart device. Come on Samsung, this app has been terrible for a long time now, put some effort in and sort it!.. or sack your development team!
Newest update horrible!

The app overall is great, but the updates have been inconsistent. It used to constantly disconnect a few years ago so I stopped using it, then it was updated and worked perfectly for ages. Then it updated a while ago now and ever since it constantly disconnects from my tv (tv is left on at the switch) makes me sign into my account every time I use the app, says that my tv is offline when it’s on, and has to re download the remote every time I use it. It’s honestly a pain to use. Please please fix this idk what happened but it was great before!
Great concept - if it worked

I’ve had endless problems and wasted so much time trying to do simple tasks with this app. Most of the time it tells me it can’t connect to the tv (Frame) because the tv’s switched off of or not connected to the internet - which is not true because it’s usually on and streaming something at the time, and the device is definitely connected to the same network, and to the tv since I can airplay to the tv with no problem. Trying to use the app as a remote is pointless since it’s so slow to navigate to even when it is registering the tv, so the only use for the app for me is to load art to the Frame. However, after hours of troubleshooting and eventually fully resetting the tv to get it to connect to the app, as soon as I tap Art Mode the app crashes!!! Most of the art I had previously spent hours painstakingly loading and had worked fine now comes up with an error and won’t display. Apparently the only answer is to delete it all and start over, but if the app won’t even stay open I can’t do that because I’d lose it all without being able to re-add it, so I’m left stuck with the few items on the tv that will display. I can only wait and hope that gets fixed in the next update. Also, a keyboard for inputting passwords & text would make it actually useful as a remote.
Do not recommend!! Extremely poor service and App

I managed to successfully add 2 devices (TV and Soundbar) however the app has to wait anywhere from 5-10 seconds to connect to the server before you can use it and even then the status keeps flicking to offline (I have a super stable and fast internet connection this is not my end). Also you cant use the app to turn on the TV so whats the point. Tried adding my washer however it timed out every time during set up. Called the helpline and they were useless. Managed to eventually add the dryer but had to use a Samsung phone (who would have thought). On the Samsung the washer also keeps going offline. On my Iphone it displays but when I click on it it tries and gets me to reregister the device? What a joke.
