The Workplace Chat app lets you keep in touch with your colleagues, wherever you are. Simply sign in to your existing account, or create one from scratch in the app itself.
Using messaging tools that your teams are already familiar with, Workplace Chat lets you:
- send messages to individual colleagues, or have group conversations;
- share unlimited files, photos and videos;
- make voice and video calls from anywhere in the world;
- turn on "Do not disturb" when you're busy or away from work.
Workplace Chat is ad-free and totally separate from Facebook and Messenger, making it easier to balance your work and private lives.

Excellent
Very efficient platform to communicate on. Doesn’t lag and very simple to use. Highly recommend over facebook messenger or any other app. 10/10 for me.
Undercooked and buggy
Have struggled with it for a year now. Many glitches with the entire platform. Problems range from the simple ones (eg not being able to start new conversations with people you’ve not messaged before as it stalls the app) to major issues (eg pdf uploads not being able to be viewed outside of a tiny preview or downloaded at all from the app itself.)
Poorly thought out and unfinished service that feels like it’s been rushed out to compete with others.
Over all a poor way of communicating with colleagues.
Workplace FB
Great way to stay connected with team mates and even better that it was in use during lockdowns in NZ. Great tool for all walks of life and workplaces around the world!
