BDO Securities Mobile App 4+

As an investor who relies on BDO, having a working and useful app is must especially at this time and age when we have to joggle plenty of things. This app has lots of bugs and often times it’s down during trading hours. Upon signing in it will automatically log you out with session expired error even I just literally signed in seconds ago. The app is not even optimized for bigger iPhones so not sure how this one got passed App Store’s review. I hope BDO with all the money they have invest on this platform to make it more useable. Else, I will really need to find an alternative platform for trading and suggest everyone does the same till BDO gets their act together and stop being lazy. This is a shame of an app and we Filipinos deserved better!

First, I would like to congratulate the company in providing this app. This is a great achievement for the company. Although there were some things that needed to be fix, overall it is a great app for your clients and future clients.

I do have some minor suggestions.

1. Watchlist Tab
- I think it would be best to maximize the ability of the app by providing an Alert Price on a specific stock, it will be triggered once the Market price hit the alert price. I know some security measures needed about this but I am hoping you can look into it.
- the mini icon on bottom right that allow us to change the view of the watchlist, I think it would be better if you interchange this with the “Add(Pencil)”.

2. On the Home tab / Overall tab
- maybe you can insert the Details of the Portfolio?
- or maybe instead of separating the buy and sell tab, you can combine them in a tab called “Trade” and add the Portfolio tab upon doing so.

3. On the portfolio
- maybe it would be better that the column that needed to be viewed first were (Last Trade Price, Unrealized Gain/Loss Amount, Unrealized G/L%, etc.)
- remove the Buy and Sell icon to free up some space, and change it with the action of upon tapping a stock, a popup question of Buy/Sell will appear; or even some minor details like history, etc.

Hi, could you please consider modifying the “portfolio” display? Maybe you could just use what's shown on the browser version (except in real time)? In the app, the actual amount I invested per stock is not displayed; only the current market value is shown. I’m also a bit confused regarding the unrealized P/L and net change columns. The unrealized P/L doesn’t seem to be showing me my paper profit or loss given the last traded price of the stock. As for the net change, I have no idea where the values came from. Navigating the portfolio screen is a bit difficult, as well. Lastly, could you maybe optimize the display for iPhones with larger screens? Thanks!
