Description
Classroom is a free service for schools, non-profits and anyone with a personal Google Account. Classroom makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect – inside and outside of schools. Classroom saves time and paper, and makes it easy to create classes, distribute assignments, communicate and stay organised.
Classroom is designed to help teachers create, collect and mark assignments paperlessly, including time-saving features like the ability to automatically make a copy of a Google document for each student. It also creates Drive folders for each assignment and for each student to help keep everyone organised.
Students can keep track of what’s due on the Assignments page and begin working with just a click. Teachers can quickly see who has or hasn't completed the work, and provide direct, real-time feedback and marks right in Classroom.
With the mobile app for iOS, students and teachers can view their classes and communicate with their classmates in real time. Students can open their assignments and work on them right from their iPhone or iPad. Teachers can keep track of who has handed in work and mark the assignment – at school or on the go. Students and teachers receive notifications when they have new content in Classroom, so they are always up to date.
There are many benefits of using Classroom:
Easy to set up
Teachers can add students directly or share a code with their class to join. It takes just minutes to set up.
Saves time
The simple, paperless assignment workflow allows teachers to create, review and mark assignments quickly, all in one place.
Improves organisation
Students can see all of their assignments on an assignments page, and all class materials (e.g. documents, photos and videos) are automatically filed into folders in Google Drive.
Enhances communication
Classroom allows teachers to send announcements and start class discussions instantly. Students can share resources with each other or provide answers to questions on the stream.
Secure
Like the rest of Google Workspace for Education services, Classroom contains no ads, never uses your content or student data for advertising purposes.

Ratings and Reviews
120Hz Support for iPhone 14 Pro / Other Pro iPhone Models
Hi there! I’ve been using Google Classroom on my iPhone 14 Pro, and I’ve noticed that the app doesn’t seem to take advantage of the 120Hz ProMotion display. The scrolling feels a bit less smooth compared to other apps that use the higher refresh rate, and I think it would make a big difference in the overall experience.
It would be awesome if you could optimize the app to support the full 120Hz refresh rate for iPhones with ProMotion. Thanks for all your hard work, and I hope to see this in a future update!
Worst learning platform
What’s even worst that we cannot even tell the AM or PM deadline of the submission of assignments in mobile only the laptop or computer can see that
Apple users don’t get save offline files i get the you praise the people who uses google but that is not good for business with those users it leaves a bitter biased stamp towards there face. Instant exit for no reason and really slow download For a file size of an ant passing an output before the deadline but re-passing counts as late. I say the apple users has the justifiable rating thanandroid since this issues im seeing don’t deserve a pass 3.3 that is just generous for a billion dollar company who should’ve easily done this but they become pathetic with this product
Add a NOTIFICATIONS page
Whenever I click a notification in my phone, it does not redirect to the actual notification, just at the home page which is annoying since I have a lot of classes and it's a bit hassle to track my email regarding the comment or notif.
