I use Google Docs almost daily and it never disappoints. It’s simple, fast, and very reliable for writing, editing, and collaborating with others in real time. I love that my files are automatically saved and accessible on any device. Sharing and commenting features are super helpful, especially for work and planning. Highly recommended for both personal and professional use! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The top reason why I chose google docs instead of other word processors is because I can use it across my devices no matter which operating systems I use. The “automatic save” is a huge deal for me, but recently I’ve been having trouble syncing my file from my ipad to the browser version. When I tried opening my document on the browser, it keeps showing me an older version of the file despite many “refreshes” (note: gdocs doesn’t have forced sync). I can’t even download the updated version I have on my ipad to serve as a backup (it saves the older version instead!). I’ve had to copy-paste the whole thing on my notes app and lose all the formatting just to have a sense of security that I won’t lose months of hard work. Please fix.

All my important files are gone and i know for a fact i did not delete anything nor did i go to trash and delete it the second time around. I’ve tried everything, went incognito and opened my docs, tried the search bar as well. I’ve done my research everywhere and i found that in reddit just 1 year ago, a lot of people went through this and none of their files got recovered. So will i ever go back to Google docs? absolutely not. Huge regret that i had so much trust in this to even make sure to have a backup. I’ve been using this until 2022 and no issues has happened as similar as this, just when i need it the most.

This app might be very helpful but if you are a writer/author try to consider other apps. I had enough of this BS. Some documents I have worked for days and weeks suddenly disappeared when I didn’t do anything on it. Nothing’s more frustrating than losing a file you’ve worked on for so long. One day, i opened a file then after the loading time I was shocked because the words or the document is missing. The file is there but there are no words! I literally cried after seeing that and tried to find it in my drive and everywhere but I cant find it. This happened to me not just once. I hope you fix this google!!!
