So we use MS Teams for work, obviously. We actually exhaust almost if not all of its functions from chat, file sharing/real time file editing to virtual meetings. We’ve encountered some of its common problems specifically when it is used in a remote desktop environment. At first it was really challenging but we eventually got the gist of it. Also, we use VPN connection and with VPN, it gets disconnected from time to time. But the beauty of MS Teams is that when you’re in the middle of a meeting and the VPN gets disconnected, it doesn’t boot you off from the meeting instead, it reconnects you almost instantly (this is of course depending on your network connection speed) so you don’t have to worry about getting back to the meeting. I recommend this app.
More improvement to catch up with zoom

I was one of the people in the College to actually recommend this platform due to the initial privacy concerns with Zoom. But up to this point they haven’t made the necessary adaptation of more windows showing each and every participant. Why is this important? I want to see my students and their reaction while I give my presentation, to see who is uninterested, bored, sleeping or the person who just left his laptop open. Unlike zoom whose interface doesn’t change much regardless of device used, teams isn’t friendly to iPad users. There are just so many features I can’t access compared to the desktop or laptop. Why can’t you address that? Isn’t it the goal to increase users satisfied no matter what device affiliation they have? Instead of just showing share PowerPoint why can’t you also have share keynote? To do this I have to go second step by using share screen. Why can’t I enable video audio on my iPad? I can only check that box if I use the desktop or laptop version. Little things that add up that makes me pull my hair and just give up altogether in trying to like it.
Please enable playback of recordings on phones and tablets
TabletUserPH
I am currently studying at a state university and microsoft teams is our main platform for online classes. With this, students like me who do not have desktop/laptop cannot access meeting recordings which is important for us since many are always getting disconnected from the meetings which then leads to us missing some details of the discussion. I hope the developers can consider this, we come from a poor university and a country with a bad internet connection. We need to be able to access recordings through the gadgets that we use in online classes which are mostly phones and tablets. Thank you
New updates are Complicated for those non-laptop users / those who use iPad
r**** e**
Im using an iPad and ever since the past 3 or 2 updates, they have made it more complicated for the students who don’t use a laptop, hopefully they can fix it and put it back again to the way it was because not everyone has or uses a laptop to go to class in Teams. One big problem and inconvenience that occurred was that, my teacher was trying to present a powerpoint in the call but I could not see what she was presenting, it stated “unable to download file”. While the others who were using laptop, they were able to view it. This never happened to me until this new update. Another inconvenience for all users is that you have to download the recorded discussion already. It used to be simpler before where you could just automatically watch it.
