Initially good but turned bad
I was very satisfied with it in the beginning specially during the start of pandemic. It has really served me well…. But recently it has a problem with the security stuff. It’s so restricted that even I cannot open it. It keeps asking for a one time pin despite the face acknowledgement feature which is good for safety however when you get to the part of confirming the transaction it will ask again for another OTP that NEVER comes. At present I can only use it thru GCash link but again, it keeps limiting my transactions. I hope this is just a temporary thing. I’ve been dealing with this for close to 2 months. Sometimes it works fine but sometimes it’s just frustrating.

Manage Device, Security Preferences, Inaccessible Debit Account
I can no longer use Face ID to login. I cannot select the enable button on Security Preferences. There is always an error. Sometimes it says: “Error. Profile not found.” So I now have to manually input my password everytime! I cannot add nor untrust/forget devices in Manage Device. (My old phone name is now the default instead of the new one I thought this could be the main issue but I can’t untrust/trust any of the device names!) If I want to view my debit account, upon clicking the account, I am immediately logged out. Saying: “For security reasons. Please login again.” This all happened after I complied the requirements when the app asked me to verify my identity and submit the valid ID. I have tried reinstalling the app and it is still the same. This is so frustrating. I want to lock/unlock my debit card but I can’t because the moment I clicked my debit account it logs me out! Cmon UB fix this mess! I have been using your app since 2019 and have not encountered anything like this before. I even recommend this app to many of my friends since then! But now this is getting really frustrating! So now I have to lock/unlock my debit card thru the web! Please fix this.
Unresponsive app and glitchy features
Had my UB account for a month now and I am frustrated with the app. It’s slow and unresponsive and its features like the Playeveryday points system and the Goals Funds are often unavailable to an error in the system. The Goals Funds feature is a great idea but the frustration I have when I can’t see or access it in the app because of a glitch makes me question if the feature is worth the stress. And I’m not just talking about a 1-hour glitch. It lasts for a day or two.
Another problem I have with the app is how I can’t access my card settings. I want to change my ATM card’s PIN but it seems like you can only do that once (when you activate your card) because now, everytime I attempt to change my PIN, the app just says that it’s inaccessible and I have to try again later. But when is later?? I’ve been trying this for 2 weeks already and the issue doesn’t seem to get fixed.
I hope the UB app developers take note of this and improve the app.
