Cancelling my subscription after months of giving it a chance. I’ve tried watching several series, but none of them felt worth finishing. Honestly, most of the recent films, series, and adaptations released by Viva have been disappointing. Many of them come off as rushed, almost like student projects. It’s frustrating, because I truly believe there’s potential. The focus seems to be too heavily placed on love teams instead of meaningful storytelling. If more attention was given to developing the plot and character arcs rather than just highlighting romantic chemistry, the results could be so much better. There are plenty of talented rising actors and actresses who were sadly wasted due to shoddy production. That said, I have to give credit to Director Santos for AOTD. I’m not even a fan of the lead actors, but the series kept me watching until the end. I’d rate it an 8/10, it exceeded my expectations for a Viva production. Comparing to it, TRIE and AMNSE were a letdown and a 3/10 despite having a great cast. Just a little advice: stop focusing solely on the love team’s chemistry. Instead, invest in the chemistry between characters, the execution of the story, and the overall quality of the film. You have the resources and the talent, now use them to create something lasting.uninstalling this app for now.

But it’s obvious you’re pouring everything into one basket while other shows barely get the promo they deserve. That’s not smart strategy—it’s poor management. AOTD has been gaining momentum but you continue to ignore its growth with late updates and lackluster marketing. It’s frustrating and creates unnecessary chaos for the fans.Worse, when fans take the lead—trending content, generating buzz, actively supporting—you don’t even acknowledge it. You pick and choose what to promote, and it’s clear where your bias lies. Even acknowledging the hate your artist received as a joke? That’s not funny—it’s tone-deaf and disrespectful.Your artists are your business. No artist, no fans. No fans, no money. If you keep playing favorites, you’re only holding your own projects back. All your shows have the potential to succeed if you just treated them fairly—not only AOTD. But if this continues, people won’t just stop watching. They’ll stop caring. And judging by all the one-star reviews here… it’s already happening.

I will say that it seems unfair that MarNella is in the book but they are not the cast in ILYS 1892 what is the point of our rating on your app if you don't listen to us? yes many people like viva one but as a wattpad reader it seems wrong just because they are famous it means they are suitable for that role please listen to our comments not your replies and nothing and who will watch? we readers probably like that story so we expect a good cast and this is what you will give? we seem very disappointed in you Viva One and what? what you are doing is very rude not because you have many fans and your cast is famous it doesn't mean you deserve it I hope you can find someone more deserving and do you know the theme? It's like Maria Clara but your cast seems not, not to insult but I hope you fix it because the story is so beautiful and historical then you will just ruin our imagination? MarNella is in the book so then in the adaptation no? it seems like you fooled us and used MarNella.

Think of it as being petty or oa but the disrespect is so loud, not just because we want MarNella to portray the adaptation, but because it was the writer’s will in the first place. Giving both actors and us readers the false hope isn’t something we could easily forgive. You can’t expect us to wait for so long hoping that we would see MarNella on screen then suddenly changing the portrayers? Stop meddling with the stories if you can’t even give justice to it, especially if there are specific ideas or preferences of who could possibly carry out that certain character like how Marlo and Janella should be Juanito and Carmella. I’d rather not watch the movie to protect how I perceive it in the story itself. Sorry, but Wattpad feeds our imaginations. And as readers, we live by those imaginations because it’s what pushes us to continue reading—hoping that if an adaptation would occur, it could not only surpass what we only imagined, but to produce it like how the story lives in our hearts and minds.
