Not user-friendly but saves time and money

I had to apply for FRC through the app but no matter what I or my husband did, our biometric failed. We followed all the guidelines given without luck. I watched a lot of videos and read reviews just to know peoples experiences or any help. We almost gave up, but then in one video someone said the biometrics are only captured in good light. So here is some help:
1) Make sure you’re sitting in sunlight OR your fingers are directly under a lamp with bright light. Normal ceiling light/tube lights don’t help.
2) Make sure you have a white paper placed beneath your fingers/thumb.
3) It’s better to use a phone with a normal camera. The biometrics didn’t get scanned with my iPhone 15 pro max even with all of the effort but worked with Samsung Galaxy A32 camera just because it doesn’t focus and doesn’t adjust the lenses so the finger prints are clearly captured.

The thumb biometric is easier than the fingers so just make sure that your thumb is placed vertical straight, under bright light and with a white background. After that, the process was relatively easier. My FRC came within 10-15 minutes. That saved me a lot of hassle.

However, they should make the app easier to use and also provide help for people who are facing biometric issues. No one has that much time and energy to spend.

I don’t understand why the developer thinks not to provide full function of CNIC services within this apps 👎🏻 here are some basic this missing :

People need to first create their id on website (easily integrated within this app)
- people need to first start their application on website and later switch to this app to upload supported documents using phone camera as a scanner and again switch to web site to complete / submit their application.
