Google accounts get 15GB of storage, shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. For additional storage, you can upgrade to Google Workspace or Google One as an in-app purchase.

Fantastic as additional backup place

Google drive can be used by multiple apps for backup their data. On top of my Windows PC I am using Apple’s iPhone, iPad and MacBook. There are apps that store backups on iCloud. iCloud gives you only 5GB of space free, to share with all devices you have. Hence I have moved some of my backups out to Google Drive. I use it also as additional backup space for most important data. Highly recommend. No issues with the GD app.

Files Name

why google drofts with recent update you broke google drive. when it copies photos or some files, it changes their names and each time creates the same system 000, 001, 002 etc., which makes a mess on the disk in the form of 000, 000 (1), 000 (2), 001 when copying files several times, 001 (1), 001 (2) etc. allow the original names to be kept! and copying more than 10 files: O

Really bad and sad

I downloaded this app with a goal in my mind to send a ton of photos to lessen the storage on my phone, sadly the app doesn’t proceed with big amount of photos at once, it freezes, the transfer lasts like a whole day despite my good internet connection, and I have to click every picture from like a thousand on my own, there is no “select all” button, no “cancel everything” button when the transfer is taking forever. The interface when showing the photos is just terrible. The google photo app isn’t better.
