Moje ING mobile received the Silver Laurel in the „Banking App 2025” category in the Invest Cuffs competition.
With our Moje ING mobile app, you can do everything you would usually do in online banking on a computer – there’s no need to choose where to log in. All features are available in the app. What can you do in Moje ING mobile?
• Check your account balance and transaction history,
• Log in using a fingerprint, facial recognition, or a PIN,
• Pay for purchases with your card stored in your phone,
• Handle official matters using a trusted profile,
• Top up your mobile phone,
• Buy top-ups for Netflix, Spotify, and other multimedia platforms.
You’ll find everything you expect from a bank:
• Make transfers, pay bills, repay your credit card, and set up standing orders,
• Set savings goals and track your progress,
• Open accounts and deposits, apply for loans or other banking products,
• Change card transaction limits.
Moje ING means simple payments, deposits, and withdrawals:
• BLIK code – pay for online and in-store purchases. You can also withdraw cash from ATMs and deposit cash at our deposit machines, including to your savings account (from age 13).
• BLIK phone transfers – no need to enter the recipient’s account number; just provide their phone number.
• Requests for BLIK phone transfers and bill splitting, making settlements easy (from age 13).
Features available only in the app:
• Dark mode – adjust the app’s appearance to your preferences (dark or light mode),
• Account balance before login – display the amount or a percentage value,
• Pre-login shortcuts – choose the functions that matter most to you and access them quickly,
• Push notifications for payments,
• Account balance preview on Apple Watch,
• Parking payments – pay conveniently for parking in the app without looking for parking meters and only for the actual parking time,
• Public transport tickets – buy tickets conveniently, anytime, and without waiting in queues.
Security in the Moje ING mobile app
Access to the app is protected by an individual 4-digit PIN, and entering the wrong PIN three times will block access to the app. Data related to accounts and other banking products are not stored in the phone’s memory, which increases data security in case the device is lost. Communication between the app and the bank’s systems is encrypted.
ING is also a bank for children. Moje ING is available from the age of 6. With your supervision, your child will take their first steps in the world of finance and achieve their goals. To start using Moje ING for children, open an account for your child or order a prepaid card for them.
With Moje ING, a child can:
• Send a request to a parent for a standard transfer, a BLIK phone transfer, a transfer to a prepaid card or savings account – each request can be approved or rejected by the parent,
• Send a money request to a parent, which the parent can approve or reject,
• Learn how to save and manage their money,
• Use Savings Goals to make their dreams easier to achieve,
• Ask a parent to top up their account or prepaid card.

I understand my rating is subjective and it is up to a user but I thought it is worth sharing with those who are about to choose or start the journey with mobile banking. As far as I am concerned I find this app one of best on the market if not the best one, not only in PL. I find it agile, easy to use, quick to learn and pretty intuitive to change between different layers of the banking activities. I have been using, and still I am a few other bank’s applications, due to nature of my job. To name a few ING BE – if you compare to ING PL this is a way to go to cut it short and it is connected most probably with overall BE’s markets and its banking system limitations which remembers end of 80s or beg. of 90s. Nevertheless Kudos to PL developers – lead by example. ABN NL version or Raiffeisen CZ have same limitations as ING BE. All of them comparing to ING PL is a different customer experience with a huge advantage towards it. If I may suggest two tips - I would move “Limit Changes” a bit up or easier to get to, now it sits in “Personal Profile” under “Settings” and then “Limit” Changes like BLIK or daily transaction limit for cards or daily transfers – a subjective change yet useful ( maybe it is possible to customize access to it but I have not found it yet ). 2nd one I would consider to add more digits combination for Personal PIN than just 4# - increases safety, not saying it is not safe, yet more combination leverages it up. The alternative apps offer as follows: ING BE 5#, ABN NL 5#, Raiffeisen CZ 6# or PL competition like mBank 8#.

Best mobile banking experience
some vague username
I chose ING as a bank because their offering of self-service through web and mobile applications was superior to anything else I saw in terms of both UX and functionality. Great work of the application development team!As for the improvement ideas - immediate access to BLIK codes would be great. I have shortcut to BLIK on the login screen - which is a fantastic idea. But once I log in, it gets buried so deep down under “services” menu that it’s easier to close the application and start it again just to get BLIK on the login screen and use it. Keeping it next to the accounts in the start screen after login would be really nice

UX needs to be improved

The information flow between sections in the same app so slow. For example l transfer my ING account 10 PLN and it is visible in history section but it is not visible in my account section. Similar case with when l do payment. I can see in the history but it is not reflecting to my account. Sometimes l needed to wait more than 5 mins which my action information will be updated. Other issue let say l am trying to open mu credit account section during opening that section my screen flashing the page like trying to load. Literally it İs flashing. At night this is so disturbing. Some part of application is Polish and some part of application is English. Very confusing. Even l can speak both languages. It makes my eyes tired. To much information in one page. Many clicks to reach one section. Example. I have one saving account, from my home page l click saving account ikon and l land the saving account section and again l need to click saving account ikon to reach my saving account section. Probably it has been made while thinking user may have more saving accounts. But you could put logic if there is no multiple saving accounts then user should land to that account. Annoying notifications and inadequate translations
Gy. Dávid
The app is annoyingly sending pop-up notifications left and right, sometimes right at the time when I would like to confirm an online card payment. It has happened on a few occasions that I had to restart online payment because of this error (I was only getting a pop-up with some marketing message, whereas the actual payment confirmation page did not show up).The translations in the app are basically nonexistent. It would not be reasonable to require everything being translated (including the bank’s service offering and all), but oftentimes even the most basic of functions lack a translation. I have written a feedback to customer service once, to which I got an answer along the lines of „learn Polish if you live in Poland”. A very „Polska dla Polaków” attitude from a Dutch bank…If having a slick and well-functioning app is an important factor for you when choosing a bank, don’t choose ING. If you’re a foreigner, run.
