The app worked fine for a regular ticket purchase using a bank card. However, initially I chose the option to load funds to the internal wallet which as it turned out has been a very big mistake. The app took the money from my bank card under Apple Pay and loaded the funds into the internal wallet. But guess what? I cannot use them because I need to send my ID documents for verification prior to spending money, but why not vice versa??! Surprisingly, none of my documents worked no matter how many times I tried because of some third party service doing that automatically and there is no human available to double check the results, which is crazy. I believe this is unfair and fraudulent to take my money and then require for some documents that they cannot validate manually and tell me whats wrong with them. Eventually I had to contact support and delete the whole account in order to get my money back. So much waste of time.
Fix bugs
Erwolek
Multiple bugs at least in parking functionality. You basically need to restart the app every time you want to use it. It’s annoying and don’t align with iOS workflow. Also why I can’t pay directly with my card which is linked to my account? I know it’s all about the money, so app can charge me for it, but it’s one of multiple pains that come with using mpay. Stop focusng on bells and whistles and fix fundamentals. Overall App is useful but so so so annoying in the same time. Btw let me mark as read all notifications with single click. Why does it have to be so complicated?
Scam! Paid for parking but still got fined
forsdetywerty
Beware of the hidden penalty trap! Since the beginning of the year, mPay silently stopped supporting municipal parking in Gdańsk. However, the app still reads my geolocation as "Gdańsk" but only provides a list of private WEIP parking zones without a single warning that city parking is no longer serviced there. Because of this misleading UI, I accidentally paid the wrong operator and received a heavy parking fine from the city. What is absolutely unacceptable is that mPay sent ZERO notifications (no email, no push) about dropping the municipal zones. This directly violates section 13.3 of their own Terms of Service (Regulamin), which explicitly states they will keep users informed about payment conditions and changes via the app or email. Customer support was completely useless, refused to admit their UI is a trap, and just told me to pay the fine. This is a deliberate scam to confuse drivers. I strongly recommend avoiding this app!
Several critical problems from user’s perspective
cz247
Unfortunately (because app’s ui and functionality seems to be well designed) I cannot recommend this app due to several critical issues from the user perspective. These are: funds are not available even though I have been charged, sometimes I was unable to buy a ticket (for unknown reason since funds were available and so the access to the internet) so I was in risk of being charged for not having one. If these kind of critical issues will be fixed I’ll may even return to using this app. By now I just want my money back or be able to use them in app but next time I will not refill my purse. It cost me too much stress, money and time. What a pity.
