Overview
UniFi Protect iOS 2.0.0 adds support for the features introduced in UniFi Protect 3.0, such as face recognition and archiving footage to Google Drive.
Improvements
- Added the ability to recognize faces for AI Series cameras (AI-Bullet, AI-Pro, AI-DSLR, AI-Theta, excluding 360 lenses).
- Added the ability to archive footage to Google Drive.
- Added the Live-Only role.
- Added support for display options added in Protect 2.11.21 and newer.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where audio stutters with Bluetooth Headphones on Direct Connection.
- Fixed an issue where the G2 Pro stream doesn't work in the Dashboard.
- Fixed an issue where the Dashboard sometimes becomes blank while connecting to a UniFi Console.

Finally
Unifi protect was terrible in terms of buffering at the beginning but in the end of 2022 it is started to be usable. It does not have all features as other CCTV Hikvision but few more months and it will be fantastic. Currently it is pretty good ! Keep working ! App is heading in the right direction ! I also admire constant updates and early access.

Does not connect to UNVR without Internet
If you have / need to have your cameras and recorder in a network with no Internet access - give up, this is not App for us.
This so-called "direct connection" to UNVR needs Internet connection to initiate this "direct connection". Sure, you don't need this app, web Interface still works, but while the price Ubiquity asks us for, this "tiny" "disadvantage" is a game-changer. My data stays with me (metadata too), not in the Cloud.
