Whether you're on the go or at your desk, WebSSH keeps you connected — anytime, anywhere! ٩(^‿^)۶
WebSSH is a professional SSH, SFTP, Telnet, and Port Forwarding client for iOS and macOS — built for developers, system administrators, and IT professionals who need reliable, secure remote access wherever they are.
CONNECT WITH CONFIDENCE
Authenticate with passwords, two-factor challenge, or keys (RSA, DSA, ED25519, PuTTY). Connections are fast and stable, with support for local port forwarding, automatic startup commands, full terminal emulation (XTERM-256COLOR, XTERM, VT100), and custom profiles — themes, fonts, colors, and keyboard shortcuts tailored to your workflow.
MANAGE FILES REMOTELY
The integrated SFTP client lets you browse directories, create, rename, upload, and download files — and edit text files directly within the app. No separate FTP client needed.
MORE THAN SSH
WebSSH also supports Telnet and Serial connections, making it a versatile tool across a wide range of scenarios. Serial connections support full configuration (baud rate, parity, stop bits, flow control), and Telnet supports both direct and interactive authentication.
BUILT-IN SYSADMIN TOOLKIT
Quick diagnostics without leaving the app: Ping, Traceroute, DNS Lookup, and Whois. The mashREPL feature gives you a fully local shell (ls, grep, curl, ping, tar, and more) that works even without internet access.
WHY WEBSSH?
Most SSH clients are either too basic or too bloated. WebSSH hits the sweet spot: professional-grade features, a clean mobile-first interface, and rock-solid reliability — all in a single one-time purchase, no subscription required.
One app. Every protocol. Zero compromises.
Download WebSSH and keep your servers close at hand, no matter where you are.
The best ssh client available and could be even better!

Works really great - only one client with port knocking implemented I was able to find for iPad! No problems with working with shells using ohmyzsh plugins for git etc. Working really great with tmux! It is in my opinion already the best ssh client for iPad and I really miss only one option (lack of it is forcing me to use second ssh client app to achieve what I need). It lacks (like all terminal client apps) possibility to work in split screen mode with two connections at the same time (without need to switch between). It is not possible for example to log in to dev and prod servers in split screen mode to compare config files. Yes - it can be achieved using jumpbox with tmux but hey - that makes us need to have a jumpbox. Now I’m using WebSSH and other ssh client app (buggy and not neet) to be able to do that. Wouldn’t it be nice to copy config lines between two server consoles on 13in iPad? It would :)

The best SSH app for iOS devices
jakeISAC
I have tried many SSH apps for iOS but none of them have the same amount of features that WebSSH has. The app works really well, haven’t had a single crash so far. The interface is really easy to use.I highly recommend the app. It’s simple, it’s well designed and it’s reliable.

Nice and clean, good app

Great app for this price, even more than I expected. One problem that I’ve encountered - I am not able to start more than one instance of the app, so I just need to stick to one terminal, and I cannot work on this app on split view - it does not allow to open another instance this way either. iPad Pro 2020. One wish, it would’ve been great to add integration of SFTP with Files app, so that it’d appear there as well and allow for some more interaction than just seeing what’s on the server. Apart from these, once again, as a “night project” and for this price the app is great

Hello Ch3shie 👋Thank you a lot for your warm review❗️Yet WebSSH doesn't support split view but you can run multiple terminals with these steps :WebSSH > Settings > WebSSH Settings > Allow multiple features at the same timeYou will then be able to switch between screens.I will support split view asap.Yes SFTP support is not yet "finished" and I need more nights on this feature 😇Again thank you a lot for your review! Have a nice day ☀️
Best so far

I was using Termius on iPad Air but it didn’t support Nerd fonts. This made nvim inside tmux calculate terminal width wrong, leaving artifacts on screen. WebSSH doesn’t have this issue and everything renders nicely. One time payment for Pro version is a great option too.

🇵🇱 Hey pkdevplpl! 👋Thank you so much for the 5 stars and for switching to WebSSH — that really means a lot to me! 😊Nerd Fonts support and proper terminal width rendering with nvim + tmux was something I really cared about getting right, so I'm glad it works well for you!And yes — one purchase, lifetime updates, no subscription. That's the deal! 💪If you ever have feedback or a feature request, feel free to reach out at team [AT] webssh [DOT] net or on GitHub.Have a great day ☀️Arnaud
