TaxiF - A Better Way to Ride 4+

Option to report a driver or ask refund esp for those who used card for payment. I choose the eco trip with my card as payment but after ending the trip, the driver said I need to pay even I paid already by card. How come he doesnt know that its paid already?? I was force to pay again bec he wont leave unless I pay.

Option to give tip per trip not as general tip by percentage.

It's a terrible application with no management or support, so if you run into any technical issues or other problems, nobody will come and help you! When you choose a credit card as a payment option, they capture your credit card information and then demand cash payment. Why does the app gather this data but not use it? It's a scam that is as obvious as clear water. The app is total garbage and is not at all user-friendly. After experiencing a few technical difficulties with the app and realizing that they weren't going to use my card as they should have, I started carefully reviewing my transactions to ensure that my bank was aware of any potential fraud! Moreover, they do not collaborate with any legitimate payment methods! They also don't screen drivers in any way, and I nearly got into an accident three times with one of them before they tried to blame me for not paying (remember they collected my card information and since I don't deal with cash, I don't care if the app didn't charge my card as I haven't received any denial messages and the PM is card).

Well guess what, after analyzing it more deeply, I ended up with a fraud feeling and quickly deleted the app! Don’t install it! Watch out people!

I booked a taxi from Doha to Lusail and the cost displayed was ~31 QAR, 2 QR lesser than competitor. Trusting 3.3K 4.8 star reviews, I thought of giving it a shot. Well my card was charged 42 QAR that’s not even pending. The confirmation didn’t even tell how much they charged you. Now, the driver was driving in opposite direction and his number was unavailable. Booked the taxi again, cost was showing 32, and the charge was 42. Second time also the driver didn’t respond. Opened a support request, first they ask for ride screenshot, then order screenshot, credit card charge screenshot. Why can’t they put all of that in a single email. Horrible experience.

If you are in Qatar don’t even think about these people. People say third time is a charm, but I didn’t want to lose money.

What I think is they will show a lower amount to trick you booking the cab and they increase the charge for a normal car to an amount equivalent or higher than Uber XL. Don’t fall for this, Careem was my choice; now that they stopped service in Qatar, we are left with people like this.

Finally booked Uber @ 32 QAR, picked me in 2 minutes. I was able to get the money back from after numerous emails and follow ups.
