I really enjoy using babbel. It has a friendly interface and it deals with all the aspect of the language: speaking, listening, writing, vocabulary, grammar, information and interesting info about the culture , games and review to make it stick. I think it’s great for starters - it can be overwhelming the first lessons but then it’s almost fun ⭐️🧠

Excellent, but…

I have no complaints so far when it comes to lesson quality (Spanish, 120+ day streak), but for the love of God, please fix the following bug: whenever I finish the first lesson of the day (and I only do one lesson), if I don’t push the “Continue learning” button it doesn’t count as me extending my streak, if that makes sense.Meaning, it shows my streak being safe for the day after I complete a lesson, but unless I remember to also push the “Continue learning” button and I just exit the app, it’s pretty much as if I hadn’t done any lessons for that day. Please fix this, it’s very aggravating and stressful.

Great app

The only complaint I have is that whenever the “Fill the blanks” section pops up, I do not have the option of hitting the space bar on the keypad, therefore unintentionally making a mistake. It is not that big of a deal, but it does not give me the option of correcting the phrase whenever I’m tracking my progress. Would be great if you would fix it :)
