Jarir Bookstore 4+

The Jarir app has a lot of potential, but it really needs some attention. As a regular customer of Jarir Bookstore, I find the app to be buggy, slow, and unresponsive at times. Adding the discount card doesn't work properly, and the purchasing process is not up to par with other stores' apps.

It's disappointing to see that Jarir is promoting online sales but not investing in developing the app and the website appropriately. I hope Jarir Bookstore can take the time to fix these issues and improve the overall user experience of the app. As a loyal customer, I would appreciate it if Jarir Bookstore could make these necessary improvements.

I have been wanting to purchase a device for a while, so I checked several sellers, Including jarir, and here is where my problem is.
Firstly, the application kept lagging. It would take a good while to respond to anything.
Secondly, the coupon codes. Not only do they have expired coupons still advertised (with no expiration date stated, I had to check on the website) but even the ongoing ones were not making any discounts.
The third problem is the shipping costs. A 30 SAR for any package less than 15 kgs and then pay more for heavier packages? It does not matter if you paid thousands, you still need to pay delivery, even if the nearest shop is literally 7 minutes away.
My final, and biggest problem, is ordering as a guest. Why exactly do I have to enter my information every single time to order? And not only that, the one time I actually ordered, I put a different phone number, but the order registered with the old phone number??? It is impossible to edit the contact information because either the application is laggy or it isn’t allowed (even tho you can still edit the information, you just can’t submit it)
I had paid nearly 2,300 SAR and I cannot reach where the package is at all. The tracking option is the worst I’ve ever seen, it gives no information whatsoever, and you can only track using the application, you can’t from the website.
It is a great disappointment that such a respectable bookstore has such a terrible and useless application

It seems like the UI for this app was designed to make the user blind ASAP!!! IT’S SCREAMING WITH WHITE!!! I have to turn on all the lights in my house just to reduce the amount of seizure this app is causing… it’s really repulsing to use! Even though with all those updates that is happening it’s like I’m starting to pray that this time hopefully they added dark mode! but no no! Apparently someone have to write a review about it, not like every app on the world already has that. And what is going with all those updates everyday? I genuinely don’t see any bugs fixed or features added! If anything it’s getting worst! The search engine feels disturbed and unstable to use, and when searching for something it’s showing same stuff endlessly!! And every time an update comes EVERY TIME! EVERY SINGLE TIME! the app logs me out! You guys changing the lock every once in while or something or what? Can’t tell how many times I was on the edge of buying a product and I just cancel everything just because I have to login again! It became exhausting.
