some suggestions!!
By me ^^
i really like procreat, i’be been using it for years and the long way the app came through is really amazing, bUT!there could be a room for more betterment of course, we could start off with a-1 text tool! instead of having to handwrite everything i believe text tool would be very handy!!-2 shapes tool! the straight line tool is fantastic and all but more shapes like circle and square could be very useful!-3 the selection tool could use hella lot of improvements, personally i’d rather a selection tool similar to paint tool sai’s ( where you can have a selection brush) it could be added to the already existing selection option! also the selected area is very pixel-y and the magic wand isnt any better, too sharp and pixelish -4 1 pixel expansion, also related to selection tool, where u can exand ur selected area by 1 pixel each time!!-5 luminance to transparencyi had this option in paint tool sai, im not sure how difficult it can be to add it into an ipad app but its a feature where u can remove a white background from a black lineart, it has been very useful and i hope i still can use it here too !!these are just the suggetsions i have for the betterment of the app! really expecting a lot from its my fac drawing app!
Pretty dang good, but here's a suggestion
SimliarOOF
I've been trying out animating in this app, and it's pretty good since it doubles as a drawing app which allows for a lot of detail. It also has generally better tools, including better versions of widespread brushes. But there's one thing that bugs me when animating is that when you want to make a background, you'll have to make a group layer with it as the bottom layer. This wouldn't be a problem...if you didn't have to copy everything too. This could easily be fixed by updating the background color layer into a general background layer that you can draw in and make your own background.Maybe I missed something, or this is already on the team's to do list.I don't really care if it's not added, but I just want it for the sake of convenience. Thanks in advance.Sincerely, a new user

Hey SimliarOOF - try enabling Animation Assist in Actions > Canvas, then tap twice on your *leftmost* layer in the Assistant interface down the bottom. Setting this to Background will populate it for every frame of your animation. 😇
Great app! But…
Classy Potato
I love this app, it has everything you need, a lot of options for tools and colors, and drawing with a stylus feels as realistic as traditional art.Why the low rating then? Because there are three features that work by touching the screen, while drawing I sometimes rest my hand on the screen or touch it by accident, which causes these things to happen:- It either duplicates the color my hand happened to touch, which may not be a big deal since you can just get back the color you were using from the pallette, but what I don’t understand is why doesn’t this feature has its own tool on the menu instead, it’s not a feature you’ll be using constantly, it doesn’t need quick access by touching the screen!- Another feature that works accidentally by touching the screen is switching between pen and eraser. This one is very annoying because it happens a lot! Also the tools are on the menu and there’s already quick access to them by tapping on the stylus! Having this happen every time my hand touches the screen slows down my work and interrupts my rythm!- But here’s the absolute worst one, undoing! often times by simply touching the screen it undoes the last thing I did, it is very frustrating because sometimes I’m zooming in to a different portion of my drawing, so I don’t realize some part was undone and requires me to do it again until I zoom out! It’s even worse when the last thing I did was go on a different layer, my hand touches the screen so it undoes that and gets me back to the previous layer, and there’s no way of noticing it! So I spend time and effort drawing and only find out I was on the wrong layer when it’s too late!Who though it was a good idea to use these feat ures by touching the screen?! It’s not a reliable way to use them since they already have quick access on the menu, all this causes is accidents that make drawing on this app painful and irritating!
Developer Response
Hi Classy Potato – making some adjustments to the Gesture control settings in Procreate may make things easier for you. Head to Actions (wrench icon) > Prefs > Gesture controls and start with General. Try enabling Disable Undo and Redo. This should prevent your hand accidentally invoking these gestures when touching the screen and you will be able to continue to use the Undo and Redo buttons on the Sidebar. It sounds like Eyedropper may also be invoking, so check which setting is enabled in Gesture controls for this and disable any settings that aren't working for you. If you're using the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and are accidentally double-tapping the Apple Pencil as you adjust your grip, make sure the Apple Pencil double-tap settings are disabled in Gesture controls as well as in iPad Settings > Apple Pencil. Let us know how you go after making these changes. ☺️
OK. We went too far. This update sharpens the corners of your Gallery thumbnails. It also calms down the height of Animation and Page Assist and fixes an issue in 3D painting where you couldn't import meshes without normals.
Remember that all your custom brushes are available in the Classic Library by pinching the brush panel, or tapping the Procreate Library title.
