Version 3.19

NotePlan 3.19 brings macOS 26’s Liquid Glass design into the app. The sidebar now floats above the window and shows your note’s background color (set it in the properties), while the Command Bar has been refreshed with a subtle glassy look.

DESIGN

• Sidebar now “floats” above the window and shows your note’s background color
• Command Bar redesigned with a glassy look that shines through the note's background (which you can set in the properties typing "bg-color" for the key and select a color clicking into the "value" field)
• Menus and dropdowns across the app are refreshed
• All the icons you see got an update as well

• Added teamspace name to daily notes
• Fixed private notes appearing in teamspaces
• Fixed duplicated references when private notes use “.txt”
• Fixed weekly note switching from date picker

• Added support for multiple “is” values (search operators)
• Auto-added default sources to prevent empty results
• Added “hide:archive” operator

• Fixed Editor.save sometimes not returning

Best Productivity / NoteBook / Planner Tool!

Without a doubt the best tool I have used for note-taking and task management. It has become an invaluable tool to me and I can’t rate it highly enough. The developer is extremely active, features and bug fixes are often and the community is amazing. The plugins are amazing, and I have written my own to add my own features. There are a few small improvements that I hope will come, but they are not deal breakers in the least!

I have used just about every productivity tool over the last 10+ years looking for my unicorn (including writing my own) and there is nothing that comes close to NotePlan. Worth every single penny
