The ads don’t do it justice
I’m usually skeptical of ads that boast of ‘best game’ and I had the impression this was just some chinese company trying to rip off Granblue Fantasy. But boy, I was proven wrong by far. Brown Dust is a brilliant strategy game that focuses on an rare aspect of strategy known more in Chess than anywhere else: Reading moves ahead.
It is an incredibly robust mind game that requires careful positioning of units, team setup, and even manipulating order of actions. You would be surprised how pivotal even low rarity units can be, because their role can’t be done by higher rarity units. I love playing the role of the tactician, and this game demands your skill
for that in spades.
Gorgeous art, polished interfaces, non-intrusive tutorials that don’t treat you like a blind moron, and an actually interesting story, Brown Dust might prove to be the definitive strategy RPG for the mobile, because so far I haven’t found anything quite like it.
They could definitely use a better marketing team though.
Great Game
It’s a great game with a strong emphasis on strategy and tactics, with each battle being almost like a mini game of chess. Best of all Brown Dust has got a great storyline, loads of cool characters and is F2P friendly.. You technically can get pretty far and enjoy the game fully without having to spend a dollar more. That being said, game uses the all too familiar random drop Mechanic for its mercenaries / heroes and rewards those who invest more to line the Developers pockets with many 4 to 5 star mercenaries / heroes, some of which are crazy OP, being pretty rare and almost impossible to get purely using free scrolls.. Overall a pretty cool game and definitely one of the best out there in the market at this time!
Worst customer service ever
The game has unique gameplay and it is quite enjoyable. I am once a hardcore supporter of Brown Dust, I spend regularly in game, willing to turn on my phone for the whole day to grind resources and fight for ranking in arena (although I know there are bunch of cheater there, using third party tool to accelerate the battle to do everything much faster than honest players), don't mind for poor new content release, buy merchandise from Brown Dust online store, try to recommend this game to every friend.
This all ends with my account being restricted to access for no reason. I tried to contact customer service and I couldn’t get any reply for more than one week even until now. It is a live example of how a poor customer service ruin a good game. One week is long enough to find another good game to enjoy, I don’t even feel like to comeback even if I regain access to my account.
Please don't feel shameful for 1 star rating, you deserve it.
