Running in background
The mail app is running in the background even if there is no any account set up in the mail app. The background app refresh is turned off but the mail app still runs in the background
Same email gets read on different accounts
When I read an email that has also been sent to other accounts I have, it shows as read in those accounts too. Rightfully, each mail account should have individual controls about its read or unread status of mails.
Also, the attachment interface not user friendly, it would be better to attach as a paperclip filename and not a big image within the email text. Looks messy and interfering to type text after that.
Works if and how it wants to.
Mail often fails to connect to get new mail & is almost always out of sync, while the outlook app just works. Apple’s mail app used to work well during the iPhone 4 days. Why’s the quality dropped so much that it’s become unusable? Who decided that Mail would only fetch when on WiFi and mains power? Did anyone actually think about user experience? Just give me basic mail features and stop trying to change a basic tool that used to work correctly.
