Ratings and Reviews
Meh
Good initiative but poor marketing. Forcing people to download a stupid app no matter how righteous your cause is will only net you negative reviews. You cannot have your cake and eat it. Sure, you might artificially inflate the numbers and maybe some regulars can go for a Tiger Beer in Gombak Mess later for fulfilling their ridiculous quota, but you can't expect people to give you a 5-star rating for an utter waste-of-bandwidth. Well, I guess this wayang initiative would be a great way to pad your resumes, no?
The silly so-called Gen X-ers and Baby Boomers calling Millenials a Strawberry Generation with their negative reviews should all sign on and show us how it should be done since they seem to be extra garang despite their old age. And if any of them are regulars, then wow, you guys sure are salty whiners, aren't you? Calling si-ginnas whiny but you guys are complaining about people complaining, and still can sound so righteous and full of yourself with that is laughable at best.
Edit: Found a new hidden function in app, it integrates with my LBV, causing it to home in on and fly towards my location like in the Ironman movies. Except less cool.
Good app but an idea for a new feature maybe?
Rlly good app to promote safety but I saw another app (not sure what its called) but it allows you to press and hold this button for three seconds and it'll send your gps coordinates + personal info etc to the police and somebody close that you've inputted ( I think). But if you're safe, you can just input your password within the ten seconds after you've pressed and no alert will be sent out. So I thought this would be a good idea to implement here since some situations dont allow for you to talk or type much and it would be faster like this. However, there could be a lot of pranks if this did happen so maybe you can ask people to key in their nric as personal info as well so they wouldnt dare to anyhow send since they could be tracked down easily. Idk haha just a thought since I think that app idea was pretty smart.
Would give 10 stars if i could
App design and inception was not too bad, considering it only has 3 functions of sharing an incident in the app and to call the police/ambulance or to message the police, which is very good, considering how much resources have been invested into the production of this app. Before i downloaded this app, i was not exposed to the fact that i was able to call the police or the ambulance using my phone. Now, i am able to call the police or ambulance whenever a situation arises in my vicinity!
Also, through this app, i am able to take photos of suspicious characters or belongings and share it in the app, which increases the awareness of fellow users of this app, and it will definitely make Singapore a safer country!
Lastly, i definitely wasn't forced by my superiors to download this app.
